The crowd was insane here but definitely understood the hype, the patisseries are amazing here. We tried the almond croissant and strawberry tart. They were fresh and delicious, absolutely loved it. But we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast we got, we ordered egg benedict and shakshuka, the hollandaise sauce in the egg benedict was so thick and the shakshuka tasted plain. So sad, the breakfast didn’t turn out great. Anyway i will definitely visit again for the croissant. See less

Got food poisoning from the eggs benedict twice in a row. Unfriendly staff with the "order and get out quickly" vibe. Used to be good food and atmosphere to sit in and eat but is now just a take away shop. Pastry is good. Recommended only for takeaway pastry. Coffee is a hit or miss, burns the coffee around 40%of the time. If not burnt and made properly the beans are really nice. See less

Wow, huge selection of treats! Cheesecakes, escargot and cinnamon scrolls were nice. I’m quite fussy with my pastries, so was glad I found this place through other reviews. Also grabbed donuts which were pretty and eye catching. Friendly, helpful staff. Next time will to try their breads and danishes and the creme brûlée donut. See less

Went on a Saturday morning around 10.30 - super busy and had to line up out the door. 10-15 minute wait didn't worry me too much as I was looking to take a special treat to morning tea but imagine if you wanted a table it could have been awhile. Had a huge selection of French pastries and plenty of things to choose from, even noticed they had kid friendly options like donuts in another counter display. It's not cheap but it is worth it for a nice fancy couple of cakes to take to someone's house. Now that I live int he area I will be visiting more often See less

A fantastic little bakery cafe with an incredible range of savoury and sweet pastries. When we visited on a Saturday morning, there was a ~10 minute queue to order, but still easy to get a table as most were for takeaway. See less

A good range of sweet baked goods with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating (approx. 3 tables indoors and 7 tables outdoors). Takeaway cutlery and takeaway cups were provided for dining in which partly detracted from the experience. The cold brew was decent from here. See less

Beautiful sweets, epic meat pies. They even have superb gluten free options which we love! I can't tell the difference in taste between normal and GF options for sale because it's so good. It is a bit pricey, but the quality is 100% there. Also the coffee is great there too. It's a very popular place so be prepared to wait in line for a couple minutes. What can I say, Le Bon never fails to provide quality pastries and to satisfy my sweet tooth! I have way too many favourites to list. To name a few: blueberry danish, blueberry tart, lemon tart, vanilla bean slice. We’ve been pre-ordering their $40 lockdown pastry pack and it’s really hit the spot. No surprises there! Aside from the sweet stuff, I absolutely love their sausage rolls and pies. If you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend you give them a go at your next visit! It’s absolutely delicious. The coffee and food is delicious. Can’t fault it however, I’ve been a few times now and each time we dine in we’re given disposable knives and forks and our coffee in a takeaway cup. My bf order Eggs Benedict ($18) and it was served in a cardboard box with disposable cutlery, very messy and kind of lame. Just some feedback for you… everything else is fine… See less

Very disappointed. Came in Sunday morning because of the high google rating. However, the staffs on duty were unfriendly and didn’t seem to enjoy working there at all. The shop was quite dirty on the table and the floor. It looked like they didn’t do any cleaning. We are quite surprised that they don’t even have a table for properly sitting four people. Not a good place for meeting friends. We have to change to another cafe instead. Stars are for pie only. See less

Our go-to breakfast place for a sumptuous pastry and a cup of luscious coffee! Just a few steps from our place, it has already been a weekend habit for us to visit Le Bon Melange for a quick bite before we start our day. The place is a small cute boutique cafe (with the name itself, it has its French touch in the interior). It is usually packed, there is always a queue of people but the queue gets sorted really quick. Since there are still some COVID restrictions, there are only a few seatings inside and a few outside, but having your food and drinks on takeaway is also a good option. We are a fan of their Almond Croissant and their Cinnamon Bun and sometimes trying a variety of Danish. They also serve donuts and milkshakes that the kids would love.We also like how they make their coffees, especially their chai latte— the best we've tried in the town so far! Worth visiting if you are a fan of sweets, hot drinks and chilling in a small cafe. See less
