My FAVOURITE place to eat out in Noosa, hands down! The staff are always lovely, the food is consistently mouth-watering and impeccable on the plate, the vibe is always awesome and the pricing is fair. My darling partner and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. The food and service were both simply divine (I’m saying this in a very impassioned voice). Monique provided wonderful service, guiding us through the menu and creating a beautiful, inviting atmosphere - we felt as though we were at home away from home. I would give it six stars if I could. Retro-stylish casual eatery with sensational food, excellent ambiance, and slick service. We didn’t know what to expect before getting here but we were blown away. Each and every dish had beautifully constructed flavours, and was perfectly presented. The bao were absolutely gorgeous- could easily just have eaten them all night. The sticky-sweet caramel pork was incredible - intensely packed with flavour. The Tumeric Coconut Fish curry was light and delicate in flavour, and made a nice contrast to the bold flavours in some of the other dishes. Great cocktail list, and an excellent wine list. Hot damn! Drinks, good vibe and food that is out of this world. The menu might not convey the amazing food journey you will go on, but I am sure you can choose anything and it will blow you away. Had some of the best food I have ever had here and definitely recommend anyone that enjoy the intricacies of creating a great dish to stop here. Definitely order the Miso Corn. Just do it See less

Truly one of the best meals we've ever eaten! If you're in Noosa you have to eat here! We came back twice in 6 nights because we loved it so much. Fantastic vegan options (better than non vegan), with balanced and delicious flavours. Mushroom wontons and spiced fried cauliflower were the standouts. Cocktails were incredible (Tropic Thunder and Lemon Kimono were our faves). Staff were friendly, quick and helpful. We tried multiple restaurants during our trip and Light Years was well beyond all of them. We would recommend this to anyone and will hopefully be back soon! See less

So many amazing gluten free and celiac friendly options. Staff are really well versed on food allergies and gluten free which is always very much appreciated. Loved the popcorn chicken, corn ribs, and sashimi dish. My gluten loving husband was very well taken care of as well. See less

Not only is the food exceptional, so too are the staff. Always a pleasure to eat dinner at this mainstay in Noosa junction when we visit the coast. The cocktails are divine and the food is always fresh and fast to arrive at your table. Love the design of the venue also - great ambience. Would recommend a dinner here to anyone I know. See less
