Good food, great staff. I'm gluten intolerant and the staff are happy to make many meals gluten free where possible! (I'm not celiac so can't vouch for cross contamination). The dry fried chilli beef is delicious! Stay can be a bit spicy for the weak. See less

Never answered the phone to explain or assist with a delivery which was 2hrs late. Restaurant apologises in reviews but doesn't give a toss. Called consistently for an hour. They take on too many orders without the capacity to deliver. See less

Just short of 3 hrs to receive our meal from initial order and then there were items missing. No excuse how busy you are due to COVID. If you cannot meet the demand, don’t keep taking menulog orders. Store telephone rang out for well over an hour. menulog driver said he waited over an hour for the order which was long after you had told us the order was on its way. Appalling customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant as they are money orientated and do not care about the customer experience, quality or completeness of order. If I could give a lower rating than 1-Star I would. Social media shares similar bad experiences. See less

Food is tasty, when they get your order right, every second order we put in they always miss something!! Today was the spring rolls, called the store and the owner said it will be to me soon as she admitted it was missing, 25 mins later no spring rolls, called again to find out where our entries are.... she forgot again. ALWAYS order through Uber or something like that as they always miss something and you can get a refund at least See less

Lisa’s has been the best, most reliably tasty Chinese meal. A family favourite that never disappoints. From the 1 and a half satay combination special, to the crab meat sauce crispy chicken, the first mouthful will have you strolling through flavour town. And thanks for the bag of prawn chips, it’s these little touches that makes Lisa’s Chinese Restaurant stand out from the other slop. Absolutely the worst, gummy & tasteless food. It wasn’t edible and certainly wasn’t fresh. I’d been worn about Lisa’s reheated takeaway food However when I spoke to Lisa she wasn’t interested. She’s heard it all before. The white rice was dark glue, the pepper steak was in white flour sauce. Never seen Chinese food like it. Had to throw it out & $68 down the toilet☹️ See less

Spend over $80 and was asked to pay for my prawn chips and the driver took over 5mins to undo the knot of the bag to take the praw chips out of the bag and the food was then cold and then I got inside all my food tastes burnt and my short soup had pork in it! I will never eat from this place again! I used to love this place but they have lost touch with there customers! I've been eating from them since I was a kid but now im done! See less

My wife and I have visited this restaurant a few times in the past (pre Covid-19) and it has always been a great place to eat. It has been several months since the last visit due to lock downs and working from home. This time the restaurant again outdid themselves. The staff were super friendly and the owner herself served us and even suggested a slight change in our order as she thought that the dishes would complement each other... and she was right! We were introduced to a dish new to us; salt and pepper king prawns, along with their wonderful special fried rice and boneless lemon chicken, the sweet chicken and the savoury prawns worked well together. Prices are in the average range, so with great food, great service and reasonable prices we highly recommend it to others. See less

My experience with Lisa Chinese has only been takeaway. From these experiences I’ve found it to be rough. The food is always tasty. I really enjoy the bbq pork and the crispy chicken here. My family also likes the shredded beef. However, when ordering delivery it’s such a mystery as to when it will arrive and you’ll never get any notification if it’s running late. Tonight’s original estimate was 1.5 hour wait, which we weren’t aware of until the order was place. It ended up being 2+ hours We were all very hungry by the time it arrived. In the past my family has waited 3+ hours for food here and it’s just a bit exhausting. My suggestion to customers: order very early in the night before you are even slightly hungry. My suggestion to the owners: please roster on more staff on days that are expected to be busier. The deliverer was so polite to me but I could tell they must have been exhausted getting all the orders delivered and facing the unhappy customers. I Highly commend Lisa’s deliverer for staying strong during nights like that. See less

Food was more than an hour late. Ordered at 7pm, was told it would be here at 8pm. We called at 8:30pm and was told the driver was leaving the restaurant at that moment. Finally arrived at 9:10pm. I understand that waits might be long at peak times but you're obligated to at least give an honest assessment of how long it will take, because there's no way we would have willingly delayed dinner until after 9pm. Food was hot and quality was okay. See less
