This restaurant is a little gem in North Adelaide! We had an amazing time and the food was delicious! We had a guest who required gluten free menu and we were surprised that most items on the menu are gluten free and still taste absolutely delicious. See less

Absolutely great service! Food is fantastic! Made vegan options for me and did a special order dirty Martini. Most of the menu is gluten free and you wouldn't even know. A must visit in North Adelaide. See less

Luca our server was excellent. The food for out table of 7 came out at a decent pace and was quite tasty. My only complaint is that there was a strange glass like crunch in my risotto about 5/6 of the way through my dish which caused me some panic. I spat out the mouthful and gingerly felt around for any laceration. Thankfully there was none but I certainly did not finish my meal. I did not complain because it did not injure me and I couldn't categorically prove it was glass, and it may not have been. It was a foreign item, so my only complaint is that there should be care in the kitchen! See less

Wonderful food, great atmosphere, felt like I was back in Italy! Especially with the great boppy music in the background! The staff were friendly and courteous, very helpful in assisting us with our Banquet. I cannot fault the food, it was presented well, very tasty and enjoyable. Very generous servings for the Banquet for two people. Great range of cocktails, reasonably priced. The Waiter was fantastic and for a top of after our meal he gave us the Lemon Sorbet mixed with the Anisette after our meal, on the house, just those extra little things that make a great restaurant. We will be back! I highly recommend this Italian Restaurant. See less

I don't easily give out 5 stars for Italian restaurants but L'italy deserves it! Eating here was truly like being back in Italy. You're encouraged to relax, have a laugh and most importantly.. eat! These photos were from the banquet which was incredible value for money. I had a great conversation with the chef's who are super friendly and are all Italian. Grazie Luca for having us. See less

We loved this restaurant. The food is delicious and well served. The staff team are very friendly, and the environment is very welcomed with music in a adequate volume. They don't have kids menu, however, they cooked a simple pasta as I asked for my daughter. We looking forward to coming back soon. See less

Went here on the weekend with a large group and we had a fantastic dinning experience. We had the banquet menu. From entree to dessert, the food was euthentic and delicious. In particular, the mushroom risotto was incredible. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. The wine, the food and the ambiance made our evening highly enjoyable. Highly recommended. I had a discount voucher and this always helps me gauge what service I was about to receive prior to deciding if I will ever visit again, some places get so sour (I never understand why they do promotions when they don’t want to honour it)……Fortunately, customers service here is 100%, greeted with a smile and always made sure you’re good with the food. The seafood pasta….. let’s say I was flying in a cloud eating the plate. It was soooo good. Proper seafood (not that frozen marinara mix), the red sauce is fully flavoured with the umami flavours of seafood. Ask for the chilli oil. They also provide complimentary sour dough with EVOO & the oil is drinkable! 100% a returning customer. See less

L'italy is probably one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in a long time. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, great ambience and delicious food. I tried the Pasta Special Beef Ravioli in Brandy Butter Thyme Sauce yesterday and it was perfect. This was my favorite dish! The beef was tender and packed with flavour. Lovely little space with cool interiors and an amazing music playlist. The ambience was perfect. Super friendly staff. Had the classic Manhattan cocktail and my sister had the Limencello and both were so good. The croquettes were not bad. Also had the Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi and the Ravioli in brandy butter thyme sauce from the specials menu - both really good, no such thing as too much cheese right? But the quattro formaggi sauce was too heavy for me but still delicious, really soft pillow-y gnocchi. Had to try Tiramisu from an Italian restaurant and it did not disappoint, though my sister and I felt the cocoa powder was a little too much but otherwise creamy delicious. See less

Just had a very nice experience dining in this Italiano restaurant. Didn’t have to wait a long time for dishes to be served, and the taste was second to none. My partner said L’italy has surpassed Osteria Oggi become her favourite place for Italian fine dinning. See less
