Made a 5pm booking over the phone three weeks prior to Valentine’s Day only to arrive to find a note on the door closed for renovations!!! Google even showed they were open as I used maps to drive my girlfriend from the other side of town. You took my phone number when making the booking but couldn’t be bothered to call or send me a text message. Thanks for the embarrassing experience !!! See less

Nice Chinese Restaurant outside of the city, easy to find and there is plenty of parking. has all the regular dishes, prices are about $20 per main. Decent sized servings and food arrived quite quickly. Tasty. Also does Yum Cha during the day. See less

Lunch is quick to serve with yum dim sims However, for super, the spicy sour soup is not recommended - too sour and spicy with small size. The entry fried squid is not fresh as it’s a bit soft. 麻婆豆腐 spicy Sichuan tofu is fine. See less

We ordered Peking duck 2 courses - it came with a carb dish of our choice at $51, feeds 2 easily with leftovers to spare. Duck and fried rice tasted authentic and tasty, food was prepared quickly and restaurant serves late into the night (ordered phone takeaway on a Sat at 9pm and we picked it up at 9.25pm). Hands down - the best yum cha in Adelaide! If you want a refreshing change from the mediocre options on Gouger street - this is the place to go. We arrived when the restaurant opened without a booking and the staff were able to find us a table; however, within 30 minutes - the place was absolutely packed - make a booking! A couple of us picked up our friend at the airport and we decided to come here as it was just a 5 min drive from the airport. Our friend lives in rural NSW so she was keen to get her yumcha fix. She was definitely satisfied and not disappointed at all. The restaurant didn't open until 11 but we arrived at 10:50 and the worker welcomed us in with a smile and seated us a table. After we filled in our order on the sheet, one of the workers offered us a bigger table as they noticed we ordered quite a few dishes! All the dishes were fresh, delicious and hit the spot. See less

I love the Wan Tan Ho! Worth every penny! The Siu Mai and Dim Sum is ideal for breakfast, the chilli oil and soy sauce was authentically asian. Hot tea was fragrant and a perfect wash after a huge meal. Will definitely be back, NO doubt! See less
