My wife likes coffee and she said the coffee was very good. I drink tea and they offered me leaf tea with a number of flavours available. The Apple and Rhubarb turnover was tops. A great experience, we will be back. See less

Previously I liked this place and wouldn't hesitate to call in. But then I got charged $11.50 for a mushroom pie, takeaway. For the size it was it was unreasonably expensive. And nothing was priced so I had no idea the cost ahead of time. The lady at the counter also didn't smile or greet anyone. See less

A true artisan patisserie and great coffee too. You won't find a meat pie and coffee scroll but you will find something much more creative and delicious. See less

When we walked in the place we felt very unwelcomed. There was no queue at the counter but the staff didn’t greet or check in with us. The communication with the staff was very unclear. It would be great to let us know the information we need at ONE time. “We are open”— It would be great if you could finish the answer, ‘but we are full at the moment’ and we don’t have two seat.’ The table wasn’t full and there was a seat available, as a customer we might assume that we can sit down. “We have one seat”— You could finish the sentence by suggesting we could wait when the seats are available, or come back in x amount of time. Do you want us to stay or leave or having brunch one person standing and the other sitting down? The whole situation makes us felt that the staff doesn’t bother to talk to us and we don’t feel acknowledged. It was also raining outside, we were expecting there the place could be a bit more flexible considering the bad weather and we were all soaked. We went there around 12. The store wasn’t about to close either. It was a very unpleasant experience in general. See less

Uncomfortable experience We came to this place hoping to have a memorable brunch as we visit Hobart for a few days. It was pouring rain outside. We walked in to find a staff member behind the counter who didn’t welcomed us and sort of laughed at us when we ask ‘if the place was still open.’ We asked politely if we could have an spot for two, and she got back to us saying that there were not enough space for us and that due to capacity restrictions they can’t allocate more clients (totally fine with that). What shocked me I guess was her attitude after that. She kept staring at us in an unpleasant and unwelcoming manner providing no indication of whether we should wait for a table outside or just come back later. After a few seconds she offer the take away options speaking to us very slowly like mimicking our accents. Five points for the waitress who came a few seconds later a did what the other person didn’t: welcome us, smile and apologies for the lack of rom at that given moment. We decided to leave as the staff in the counter passively aggressive kept staring at us while doing absolutely anything else. I generally don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to do it since the experience was rather unpleasant. I felt no single business can miss a minimum standards of customer service. We, as tourist, drive dynamism to the local economy, particularly during Dark Mofo, and businesses should trained their staff to liaise with interstate visitors. See less

Little Missy Patisserie has the most delicious menu I think in Hobart. I recently catered a party for 60 people and had 4 whole items from Little Missy as part of my catering. Everyone raved how delicious the items were. The tarts and strudel were easy to cut and serve for a cocktail party and came fully itemised on the boxes so easy to write out for guests what was in each item exactly. The actual care making the baked goods is on another level and why this lovely little place is so very popular. I think the pricing is very fair and I got many portions out of each item. Oonagh took the time to recommend items that would compliment each other and due to this, and the time and care and the deliciousness Little Missy are a 5 🌟 standout in Hobart. See less

I love Little Missy Patisserie. Don't go there expecting large display cases of cakes etc., as you will be disappointed. Little Missy bakes pretty well constantly through out the day bringing out the most delicious cakes, tarts, quiches and flans. I've also participated in 2 cookery classes with the very talented Oonah (owner) and can thoroughly recommend the classes. Having said that the classes aren't held very often. See less
