Staff completely ignored us when we arrived for brunch. Yes they were busy but there were clearly tables available and we were happy to wait if required but staff didn't even make eye contact or make any effort to greet whatsoever so we left. Terrible service. See less

Visited for brunch today with a few of my friends and we had an awesome experience. The smashed avocado on toast and eggs were mouth watering and delicious. The milkshakes were nice and refreshing and the coffee spectacular. We actually stayed until closing time and the staff were so nice they let us stay all the way to the closing time. Thanks 😊 for not kicking us out definitely worth going to for the food ambiance and great service. See less

Great breakfast / lunch casual cafe. Would have given 5 stars but had to settle for my 3rd choice meal as the others were not available. The eggs Benedict was delicious and the eggs poached just right. My partner had the corn fritters which were also very good. The food was good. However the service was average. 15 mins in, a guy came and said they ran out of ingredients for what we ordered. That could have been communicated with us earlier. Also no refund was offered for the extra we added originally. See less

The LLF Brekky was nice especially the mushrooms nicely seasoned really good!, but OH BOY the steak burger was a disaster, these 2 beef slices is the one of the toughest meat you can find on a cow and the burger has no flavor, Not recommended at all. The dentist is expensive I don’t want to risk my teeth😂 See less

This is a nice cosy place, decorated with vines and a pretty impressive monstera. Catchy name, and the coffee is pretty good. Everyone really loved the fries, that was probably the standout thing. The burger had a crispy bun, which was unusual, but I liked it, at least I liked the top. The bottom however was so crispy is was like a biscuit. It’s sure better than being soggy, but.. for me it’s too much. Overall quite happy. See less

One of the best places to get a coffee in Adelaide. The brunch menu is great too. There’s a hidden room at the back as it can get full fairly fast. The staff are attentive and non-fussy. Menu prices are average brunch prices for Adelaide. Plenty of parking on the streets and surrounds. See less

We had a very good brunch experience with this place. Loved the ambiance and their friendly staff. We ordered their Chicken sicario burger and eggs benedict. Paired it with 2 very refreshing juices. The chicken burger was so satisfying as it wasn’t so heavy and oily. Loved the flavours and the crispy chicken! The eggs benedict had a very creamy delicious hollandaise sauce. Perfect flavour combinations and the add ons mushroom and chorizo were so delicious. We enjoyed everything about this place and we can’t wait to come back! Well done Long Lost Friend! See less

I chose the special which was a quesadilla with a fried banana pepper filled with cheese. Nothing incredible but still a great meal. Coffee was good and my partners breakfast burger was also the goods. Hard to call it this place a five though . I thought service was a bit off and the food although good wasn't exceptional. Been to this cafe many times. Good quality of food with consistency. Coffee is one of the high quality in Adelaide. Things are reasonably priced, meaning you get what you paid for. Service is consistently pleasant and the interior design is acceptable. Can be noisy at busy time but acceptable as well. 8/10 scored with cafe standard. See less
