We visited with a group of 6 on Sunday Night of a long weekend - so things were very busy on the Mornington Peninsula. The greeting was warm and genuine and we were seen to our table promptly and specials were explained. We started with a round of cocktails which were excellent. Then we opted for the 3 course menu. The scallops and the salmon were real hit for starters. For mains the barramundi, beef cheek and duck drew high praise. For dessert the affogato, Panna cotta and cheese board were also stand outs. The wine list is extensive and well thought out. The service start to finish was first class. Highly recommended. See less

I have to say I fell in love with this restaurant walking in for the first time before Christmas! The staff were awesome , the restaurant itself is comfortable and a warming atmosphere and I love the Rolling Stones and other memorabilia. The food and cocktails were Devine. Definitely give this place a go if your heading down Sorrento way at any time ! I’ll be back . See less

First time dining at Loquat after a long lockdown period - beautifully charming restaurant, very warm and inviting. We had the two course menu which is very good value for the quality of the dishes- you can tell the produce is regionally sourced and the flavours were well balanced. The atmosphere is great- quiet and cosy. I have had great Beef Cheek before but this one served was far too salty with too much soy. The Fish of the Day dish was beautifully decorated and was very presentable- enticing and tasteful. I should have ordered the fish….. Date/ Nut Pudding/ Spiced Rum was awesome! See less
