Loved the place. Clean, tidy. Food was good. Wish they could add more spicy dishes to their menu. Take a chinese friend with to understand the ordering system and what to eat. See less

Good yum char even better to have somewhere that doesn't make you feel like you have a time limit after you have finished eating. A must try are their crispy prawn rice rolls they are so delicious and when cut up theres lots to share. See less

We went for YumCha on Monday and found everything was up to the usual good standard. Although Staff at checkout when paying were abrupt no Thanks for coming. Covid passport checks appeared to be very good. However went for Tiger year dinner Tuesday following and found the food to be just so so very bland. We were the 5th table seated and observed after around 5min a group table of around 8 persons did not get their Covid passes checked. On questioning the waitress who ignored me and left I noticed that the staff started checking passes of other seated patrons, but noy the table of 8. On leaving I mentioned to the Boss lady about the table of 8 and she said that she had checked them when they arrived in which was a lie as she wasn't even at the front of area when they arrived. She told me I was telling lies. One rule fits all and should not be selective. See less

We had a beautiful dinner to celebrate family time pre Chinese new year. Food is wonderful but MSG can be omitted. Superb food presentation. It's always busy here so booking is recommended. See less

Excellent yum cha - delicious and fresh. Ordering online super easy and straightforward. The only down fall is the amount of polystyrene packaging! Please look into something more environmentally friendly like cardboard boxes! See less

Yum cha here is very busy and the staff who pushes the cart are very attentive and makes sure you get food. Spacious table and the food are pretty good standard. Price is a bit high but at least what you get is good. See less

Pretty good. I really liked the malai, such a good dessert to finish off with. The Siu Mai was really nice too, the shiitake flavour really comes through. One thing that bothers me about yum cha is when dishes aren’t hot... perhaps that’s unavoidable as they can be sitting on the trolley for a bit. But I had a couple of cold dishes that just bought the overall meal down a notch. But still really tasty food and would come here again. See less

This is now my favourite place to do yum cha in Auckland! Great service and reasonably priced. Food is delicious and they were pretty flexible on timing - well we didn't get told that our time was up. Can't wait to go here again! Update: I've been here a couple more times and still like it (yay). See less

Nice food. Great service. However, due to the popularity, you are likely have to wait when you arrive. If you don't mind shared table, the wait is shorter. Also, they charge extra during the public holidays. The food: every now and then, the beef tendons are not fully cooked. They can become very hard to chew when they are not properly cooked which is really annoying. See less

Good yum cha. Large portions. Can get quite busy during weekend lunches. Dinner time can be busy. Again large portions aimed for large groups. Nice food. See less

Had brunch here today. As it’s Known as one of best yamcha restaurants in the city it was almost fully packed. Very clamorous atmosphere but pleasurable to join. Complementary Chinese tea served and soy sauce & chilli oil ready for self- service at the counter. We didn’t know which was which but their food was delectable. Tried eight different dishes. Prawn & coriander dumplings and radish cakes were I enjoyed most. Definitely will go back. See less

Yum Cha is the Cantonese tradition of brunch involving Chinese tea and dim sum & it loosely translates to "drink tea". Getting among the organised chaos of yum cha is one of my favourite weekend activities 😋 and there are plenty of great yum cha restaurants in Auckland. Recently visited Lucky Fortune in Three Kings with family and it is now one of my top 3 yum cha destinations❣️ It is a restaurant of huge capacity and has a massive selection of delicious dim sum for you to gorge upon. The service was great, plenty of pushable trolleys roaming around the restaurant during peak hours & everything came out piping hot and super delicious. The steamed dumplings are enormous in size – you will probably be full after having 3 of them😝. The prawn toast is my brother’s favourite – the crunch of biting through the crisp fried bread base and savouring the juicy prawn topping, truly scrumptious👌🏼... If you are looking for a buffet that comes to you, check out this place👏. FYI – it is also voted one of the best yum cha in Auckland by the Urban List❗️ See less

Very busy on Mother's day. Best to book in advance. We accepted a table of 4 for 5 pax to avoid the "Q". Waiter requested for your choice of tea after seating down customers. A nice hot pot of tea was served in less than 5 minutes. Menu pictures & graphics were very good. There were plenty of choices of food to satisfy your appetite. Complementary house soup came within 10 minutes. Our half chicken was crispy & tasty but looks abit of rushed cooking. The fried crackers were soft (supposed to be crunchy) from the nice cool air. The braised mushroom with fried tofu on top of siao Bai chai and oyster mushroom sauce was a big serving. Next came slightly soft sum lightly fried with garlic came in a big serving. Busy enviroment with limited staff as customers come & satisfied customers will leave you with a bit of waiting time for hot water refill for your tea pot. Try coming in in the morning for dim sum which I heard was good. See less
