I used to love pizza at Mama dough. Ordered a fresh Margherita through deliveroo and I am sorry to say but I could not eat it. The cherry tomatoes were covered in big salt flakes making it so salty it was impossible to eat. The fiordilatte did not taste like the usual delicious fiordilatte they used to put on this pizza either. The same happened with a previous order, although I thought maybe that was just a bad night. Ordered delivery, didn't take long between pickup/arrival and still pizzas were stone cold. Saw others asking for more toppings in reviews from months ago and owner thanking the feedback, but I can tell nothing's changed. An expensive sad experience. See less

The pizza is over rated and expensive. They use minimal toppings, and don't cater to people who aren't carnivores. Shame on you for climate change, cows emite just as much methane as the totality of industry. They also charged me a surcharge of 43 cents for purchasing a pizza without any notice. I believe I have been ripped off. See less

Gotten Mama Dough many times, and it’s hands down the best pizza in Canberra. I could eat the dough by itself it’s so good (the garlic flatbread shows this off really well). Then the toppings are all very good but don’t try to hide the dough (looking at you Crust). If you’re in Canberra in the inner north or south and want some good pizza, this is the place to go. We had a wonderful surprise here in Canberra when we found this nice easy going spot serving a good quality wood fired pizza. We tried the four cheeses and the Margherita. Prices are also a good deal. See less

EDIT: I used to go every second week, until I witnessed one of the pizzaiolos making pizza, sick and with snot dripping onto his shirt. I'm not about leaving an angry review, so I wrote to the venue about health, safety and sanitary conditions but I'm disappointed to report they have not replied or tried to get in contact. The pizza may be good, but I'm not eating there until I'm convinced that they're being made under sanitary conditions. I dare say that this is the best pizza in Canberra - and I have high standards (plus our friends ran a pizza restaurant for years.) Generous pizza size, generous toppings and properly made Neapolitan style pizza - none of that overloaded American style nonsense. I do wish that they had more choices for pizza toppings though - roasted eggplant, etc. There are only 6 seats inside so eat in the outdoor area (not fun in winter) or at Edgar's pub nearby. See less

Service & Settings: cute seating inside with outdoor heaters, there’s also ample of seating outside. Lovely service (they do phone orders) although there is a bit of wait (about 20-25mins) $$: good prices for fresh pizzas, you get exactly what you pay for ! Meal: the best pizza dough I’ve ever had, fluffy and soft. Toppings were fresh. See less

Best tiramisu in town. Grear pizza crust. 4 cheese pizza had too much gorgonzola which made it taste a bit stinky but to each his/her own. Will definitely go back and try other pizzas. See less
