Hidden upstairs in Russell place off little Collins you’ll spot their sign sticking out of the side of the wall.
We were seated in the dining area towards the balcony and we sat on a semi oval dining table which is different.
They offer a physical menu for drink and the paper placement has the QR code for check in and menu.
We had a booking at 5:30 and I arrived a little early and we were seated at 5:45. Ordered within five minutes from being seated.
We recommend the beef tartare cannoli. We’ll seasoned and it had a nice crunch. Can’t be shared and gone within 1-2 bites. Served with a sprinkle of white powder... Let me know what you think it is? Is it vinegar? Is it citrus?
Ordered a sweet mock-tail and it was pretty. Tasted just like a mild lemonade.
The mains arrived just after 7:15 and we quickly ate it as we had to rush off to a 7:30 session at the moonlight cinemas.
The Spaghetti cacio e pepe was al dente. The pasta itself had a nice chewiness and had a mild truffle presence.
The baby chicken was a full chicken and it was juicy and tender and the breast was not dry.
