Have ordered from ubereats several times now. There is always something wrong every. single. time. Fries are always soggy and cold, never salted either, they only fill up to halfway even though you pay for a large. Always forget an item in an order, missing drinks, once had a meal completely missing - had to share the one meal we did receive between two ppl. One time idk how but my coke tasted like just soda water (no flavour/sugar?). Got a quarter pounder with no pickles or sauce. Order got mixed up with someone else even though the bag had our name on it. It goes on and on.
Good thing we ordered from ubereats though, each time we just got our money back while we still kept whatever food was given to us, but I don't want to have to get my money back, I want the food I ordered and had been looking forward to. I get it, it's a mcdonalds, I shouldn't expect decent service, but getting what you ordered at the very least is a reasonable expectation.
Go to the maccas in fyshwick. Only a 5 minute drive away and uber times are similar. They have better chips (ALWAYS hot, salted, and often overfilled), never had a problem with an order, and they give you what you paid for, even when busy. Probably has to do with that they're in the middle of lots of industry buildings rather than a shopping area like this one is but idc - they knew shopping areas are busier, they should implement a better system to ensure mistakes like this don't happen as often as does. You'd have better luck in a casino than gambling your lunch money here.
