One of the best Chinese restaurants in the country. Consistently great dishes that taste amazing. You can eat in which is nice but the take away is convenient and done very well. You won't end up with soggy food on the way home because they will pack the sauces separately for you to add later. And the deep fried dim sims will have prawn crackers to absorb any moisture in the bag as well. And try the satay combination, amazing. See less

Sadly didn't find the quality of the food the best. No fresh ingredients used in the Singapore noodles and was a bit dry/overcooked. See less

After reading the mostly positive reviews, I was certain we would get a great meal from Mee Sing. Both the combination chow mein and the red curry king prawns we ordered were generous in proportion and contained very fresh, quality ingredients; however, the sauce for both dishes was watery and lacked flavour. Very disappointing. As they managed to stuff up both meals, Mee Sing is not somewhere I would recommend, or consider again. See less

Delicious food and friendly staff. We arrived dead on time for our booking and were immediately seated but it took 20 mins for our order to be taken. We ordered drinks but when our entree came 10 mins later we were asked again if we wanted anything to drink. Drinks then came after the forgotten order. However, the first main course (a sizzling meat) didn't come until 55 mins after our arrival. The rice didn't come for another 10 mins, well after the sizzling stopped and the lemon chicken another 5 mins after that. My diabetic friend had to start testing her blood sugars and nibbling her lollies as she needed the food which didn't appear for so long. See less

Amazing food! ! Ordered a large takeaway tonight (sweet and sour pork, beef and black beans, boneless lemon chicken, satay chicken, tofu/veges and oyster sauce, spring rolls and fried/boiled rice) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed every dish - especially good since we had some picky eaters. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Canberra and staying at the Alivio tourist park to get your takeaway from Mee Sing. Thanks!!! See less

This is the best Chinese restaurant in town! The sauces in the dishes are all house made and not from a jar! This gives them their unique taste. There is a reason they have been here for more than 50 years! See less

Left the place in disgust this evening after having to listen to the conversation from the table behind us the whole time. When I complained to the staff I was told that since they were not "swearing or anything" there was not much they could do. How about a quiet word regarding the noise level? They may not have been swearing but some of the topics of conversation were not things I appreciated my children hearing. Not a place I would take a family after this. If it was just for the food yes but customer relations leaves a lot to be desired. See less
