Used to be a very nice place with very nice food and coffee Not any more. The last meal I had there, mid August, mushroom risotto was very, very bad: undercooked onion, tasteless bottom mushrooms and rice swimming in milky water. Yuk! The mocha was awful too. Will not go again, as the previous two visits were also very disappointing! See less

I decided to try a new restaurant for my birthday dinner, BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER soon as we walked in. We were seated pretty much at the front door 5 of us with a baby, we waited 1 hour for our meals only to be given the wrong order and was told the correct order will be ready in 10 minutes!!!!! I waited 15 minutes, I wasn’t going to wait any longer. We paid for the meals we received and complained about the service only to be told sorry about that!!! Thanks Middels I had no dinner. It's been a while since I've been to Middels. I went with my friends and we shared a few tapas dishes. The GF and Veg options were great and the dishes did not disappoint - so moreish. And when we couldn't decide on dessert, we had a selection or macarons!! They are not to be walked past - they must be tried! See less

We went to Middels for dinner. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the meals are nice. The tapas are very generously served. The restaurant staff is very friendly. It is a great place. All we've ordered was well and nicely prepared but for the pork which was too salty. Otherwise everything sounded great. Thank you for this great moment. See less

Had a beautiful tapas meal with hubby yesterday night. We ordered 4 tapas plates, 3 of the 4 were great menu items. The 4th one - sticky pork belly, we were not a fan, very salty and the sauce is very overpowering. The waiting staff were nice, attentive and very polite. However, the young lady ( with double eye lashes) at the till, taking our payment needs some training - plain wrong attitude and couldnt care less - no customer service skills at all. See less

Trying to decide between two or three stars… staff were nice but my rib eye steak was tough, cooked correctly (medium) 🤷🏼 two beef ribs both came out burnt, slow cooked beef cheeks were good nice sauce. See less

Wow Middels is fresh food new caring staff and very happy diners enjoying outside or indoors. My son gave me a Mother's day lunch on Saturday 2021 totally unexpected as we shared taps pork, squid and garlic bread then both enjoying baked gnocchi. l will definitely be going again!!! See less

We recently moved into the area so we’re keen to try all the cafes and restaurants and decided to take my mum here a couple of nights ago for her birthday. It was our first dining experience here and it was a delight to say the least. The service was so friendly so first impressions were very positive. We ordered a couple of soft drinks lemon lime bitters and many times some bar tenders can’t even get that right but these were well balanced. We had cauliflower Parmesan croquettes with pumpkin purée for entree and it was delicious! Flavours were all there and well seasoned and lovely presentation. For mains we had garlic chilli prawns and grilled fish with salad and chips. Both mains were again delicious, well balanced and seasoned, salad was dressed and the fish and prawns were cooked perfectly. We didn’t order dessert however will try on our next visit, and we will definitely be back. All in all it was a very positive experience, the dining area was clean and would highly recommend to family and friends. See less

Worth the 45 minute drive for us to get there. Had been meaning to visit for quite a while and was not disappointed. Started off with tapas, then had the mains, followed by a piece of cake (our cake servings were also pretty big). The food was really good, the staff were super friendly and helpful (the young man who served us was polite and funny), and the venue had a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back! See less
