By far the best restaurant in Melbourne. The food is tasty. The customer service is beyond exceptional. The chef herself came out and ask us about the food quality and even talked with us. She made us feel like we were part of the family. More importantly she reminded me of my mother hand cooked food. I highly recommend this restaurant. See less

Rightly said - Hidden Gem in Kew.. Liked - really liked the taste of food.. homemade taste.. ambience, kind and efficient staff.. authentic Gujarati food.. chhole Bhature were awesome.. Not liked - wait time for food to arrive on table (were hungry and food smell was making every minute longer and longer.. Lol) which is understandable in shortage of support staff these days. they are definitely going to improve in coming days.. Overall - a must visit place and enjoy delicious food.. See less

Thanks Minu aunty & team for the amazing food. If you’re after Authentic & tasty Gujrathi food, look no further. The srikhand was by far the best that we had, still dreaming about it. Can’t wait to try the thali which is available only on the weekends and booking recommended. It was a pleasure having a chat with Minu aunty who’s such a passionate cook. I had ordered Surti Undhyu with Khaman and poori. The taste took me back home. Love the quality and the taste. Will order more again. Update: Finally had a chance to visit and dine in. The thaali dinner is worth every dime. Quality, quantity and taste is in beatable. Had a great conversation with Minu Aunty, such a lovely lady, her passion is to cook and serve quality food. She is one of those few people who works for passion and not money. I can wait to visit her again to hear another story with her fine food. PS: Thaali is available only on Friday,Sat, Sunday for dinner. Go early to avoid disappointment. See less

This restaurant was a fantastic find and just a 3 minute drive from home. We ordered the aloo parathas and ragda patties. The aloo parathas were the best I have had in Melbourne. Instead of dessert we ordered the puran pohli knowing it would be a sweet filled roti. This definitely made my day as it has always been my favourite from 35 years ago in Bombay and it tasted amaaazzing! The authentic taste of the food was like no other we have had in Melbourne!! Family run restaurant and you can tell they have been cooking for years, even though their restaurant is new. Their veg curries have so much great flavour. Great small business to support in our community as we are coming out of lockdowns. See less

It is a hidden gem in Kew East. If you are looking for an authentic pure vegetarian traditional Indian cuisine then look no further. Minu's Kitchen is preserving traditional recipes, home cooked style. It is a family run business and they take pride in creating each individual meal with their unique recipes. They are aiming for quality and not the quantity of business. A very friendly approach towards customers and their needs. They humbly ask customers to wait as this is not a fast food but the one which is created with careful diligence. I would love to order again and cant wait to try different items on their menu.
