Can you give more than 5 stars? Hands down the best and most authentic Thai we have ever had. Fresh abundant vegetables, large pieces of fresh chicken. There are no words for how good the pad Thai was. We are from the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne but would go back just to have this wonderful lady’s food again. So friendly and accommodating too. Dinner with friends tonight at the best little restaurant in Mornington. Family owned and run, serving absolutely delicious food and plenty of it. A must try is the sizzling seafood plate, big enough for 2 especially after prawn dumplings and gyoza entree. See less

We ordered the green curry chicken and ginger tofu stir fry. Unfortunately both were disappointing due to the amount of oil in the dishes. Especially the green curry, it seemed to fill a quarter of the container. Writing this so that there can be improvement. Thank you See less

I love thai food. I've eaten amazing thai food both here and in Thailand. The food at Mornington Thai is honestly up there with the best I've ever had. The crispy pork dish is sensational and all the traditional curries are bursting with authentic flavours. Super, super impressed. See less

Absolutely delicious quality food ! I came here to visit after hubby visited last week based on google reviews - and am so glad I did! The chef was so lovely to speak to and she explained that she hand selects only the freshest produce and prepare them all her self!! The chef was so passionate about her craft and very particular - our beef was tender and the prawns were full large top quality and plenty of them . There was no short cuts or trying to save but only putting in a few small ones. Vegetables were cooked to perfection and not soggy. Green curry, satay and stir fry were all amazing and we could have been eating in a fancy restaurant paying five times what we were charged. Portion sizes were very generous and we even were able to take some home ! Our experience was positive, it was value for money, incredible food and flavors authentic. Wow! I went here a couple of years ago and to be honest it wasn't that great and experience, so I was put off going back. Having read the recent reviews I thought I would give it another try. Something has changed as this is a fantastic little thai cafe style restaurant. We nearly always order the same thing when doing thai takeout and that's a Pad Gra Prow and a Curry of varying colours. That's a bit boring I know, but at least I've tried enough of these dishes to spot the good ones! The flavours are genuinely thai and they don't ask if you want hot or mild versions which I hate. A thai meal should be served as is supposed to be served and if that's a traditionally spicy dish then that's the way it should stay. This place certainly delivers on that! The chicken and beef was tender and was balanced with lot's of very fresh vegetables in each dish. Highly recommended and my new go to place for Thai in Mornington. Picture is of a Yellow Curry Chicken and the Pale Ale was taken at home. They don't have a liquor licence, but you may be able to do BYO. Oh and the veg spring rolls were also excellent! Enjoy!
