Booked dinner for my partner's birthday here with family. Out of a group that doesn't often agree on food selections we all ended up enjoying multiple dishes and the choya kokuto umeshu was surprisingly delicious! We couldn't dine at home due to restrictions ~the environment in your restaurant was a cosy and lovely place to celebrate ~thank you!! ^_^ See less

Was on Weekend trip to Melbourne from Sydney and I wished there was something like this here! Group of 6 with 1 vegetarian and the experience was great, lovely service and best of all was the food. Every dish was impeccable. See less

This is my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. The food is spectacular. Delicious flavours with so much care and attention to presentation. But it still is such a down to earth place. The takeaway food is also incredible and doesn't end up soggy and sad like even some of the best restaurant takeaways do. You MUST EAT HERE!!!!! See less

The staff was very friendly, she helped with the menu, recommended dishes. Ordered eggplant dengaku (die hard eggplant fan) and renkon chips. Both of them were so yummy, so fresh, felt like a divine lunch. Definitely recommend. See less

Wow! So delicious and incredible friendly service. I had tacos and ramen with a cheeky sake. I can't even do justice with a description on both... especially the spicy prawn tacos. Light, crispy melt in the mouth goodness of taco outside, then this delicate but beautiful favour explosion of ingredients inside. Heaven! The ramen was just so hearty, filling and healthy. And i just fell in love with the open hearted warmth of the host. I'll be a regular. See less
