I had to say the food was a pleasant surprise because I didn’t expect much after reading mediocre reviews when friends suggested this place. Most dishes were well seasoned with fresh ingredients. The menu has extensive choices but some special dishes request preorder at least one day in advance, which is what we plan to do when we return. The staff were friendly but way too busy. The kitchen might be understaffed too on the night as food took quite long to be served. See less

Have eaten from here quite a few times, tonight's order however was terrible. Black pepper beef tasted like it had no black pepper but instead had tomato sauce on it. Beef kway teow had no wok flavour, or really any flavour. Under seasoned. Salt and pepper pork was ok, honey prawns was ok but prawns were small and batter was falling off. Really the beef and noodles were terrible, main reason I was motivated to write this review. Wouldn't recommend unless they go back to how the flavours were 5 years ago. See less

As I have no car, I was forced to use Uber. I threw out most of the food. My order was "crispy" skin chicken with plum sauce & vegetable tempura. The chicken was too thick & chewy + the skin was about as crispy as custard. The tempura had pieces where the batter was floury still & other pieces were swimming in oil. On Chinese New Year, an extremely disappointing (& hugely expensive) experience. Had I dined in the restaurant & they served this to me, I'd have walked out! See less

Honestly nothing to speical. Tipical Chinese food service was pretty good, friendly staff. The only problems I had was the restaurant was older and could use a update and my friend and I had to keep swatting flies away the whole night. Probably won't be back or recommend. See less

Authentic Chinese cuisine at its delicious best! Outstanding dishes included the Crab Claw, Salt and Pepper Squid, Bean Curd stuffed with Prwan meat and the Seafood Fried Rice. Complimenting the very enjoyable and flavoursome food was friendly and efficient service from our waiter. We will be back! See less

Dine in prices are a rip off around $6-8 dollars higher per dish for table service that is non-existent (avg dish price $20). We were served by teenagers wearing tracksuits that didn't even ask us if we wanted a drink before ordering. Get this they gave us 1 x complimentary prawn cracker per person??? Food was not even warm so must have been reheated in a microwave. Do not go to this dive, it used to be good but definitely not anymore, steer clear... See less

We found our visit to the restaurant not a pleasing one and a decision maker not to return. Firstly the fried rice was just rice with 3 prawns and half a dozen peas. It was very disappointing. The meals came out loaded with onions and very little of the primary dish. Service staff were short and abrupt and attempted to clear whilst meals were clearly not finished. Obviously staff wanted an early night! Following service delivery, a couple of fortune cookies were tossed on our table and the table beside us. Then vacuuming commenced. Lovely ambiance! Tables were still eating and it was well within opening hours. Having read the reviews, we had high expectations. We left with the opinion that it must have been the staff who had wrote them! For the prices, there are much better Chinese restaurants in similar locations. See less
