We ordered food last night. First of all, Naan Breads very all raw dough. And Palak in palak paneer wasn’t cooked at all. Ate there before but got the worst food we had ever. Don’t know how they still have 4 stars. If I could I would have given minus 100 stars. Won’t order ever again. See less

I Ordered chicken biryani trough online order. But when picking up why the lady there still asking "has it been paid?". Well, when you cooked and prepared the meal means you have confirmed about the payment. For me that was little bit rude asking that question. Also, When picking up my food the lady stared at me from my shoes to my head, and I thought what was wrong with my clothes?. Honestly it made me uncomfortable. For the food in my opinion as a non-Indian person who has never eaten chicken biryani, the taste was good. See less

Order the classic butter chicken with rice and garlic naan. Everything was full of flavour (easily one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten from). Pricing is similar to other local Indian restaurants. As delicious as it all was, I wish that the butter chicken came with a few more pieces. When food is that delicious, you just want more of it! Ordered two curruies on 2nd of Oct for dinner. Butter chicken was very very sweet. Tastes like a dessert. Chicken chettinad gravey was disgusting. I think I can cook better even by closing my eyes. This reply to your comments - I ordered these dishes in the past from your restauant. I had butter chicken and chicken chettinad numerous times. Never felt butter chicken so sweet, obivously sugar was added twice by mistake by your chef. Texture of Chettinad gravy was so bad. I can't explain how one get it so wrong. Last night's chef needs much more tranning. See less

First time in Canberra and YOU have to go NH8! It’s the cutest little spot with amazing food. The Chilli prawns are to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! RESPECTED viewers. I would like to give -1 ⭐️ IF I COULD DO. Made us ill and not tasty. Beef vindaloo was bland and lamb korma had a weird gritty texture and also bland. cant say anything about naan. They are just like taking money from our pocket without value which they have to deliver with good quality food. This restaurant is just like a one time watch movie. You can try and taste. It’s would be fair if business close their walk-in, over the phone and order though NH-8 web!! Seriously! It is very frustrating when you don’t deliver food on your given time and let customer to wait for 30min!! At restaurant. This has repeatedly happened, restaurant priority is Uber and etc where they are happy to pay commission and deliver order in short time of period. Where fully paid customer have to wait an hour for food!! All the best however you lost customer because of poor service and unprofessional staff!! See less

NH8 is my absolute favourite Halal restaurant in Canberra, ACT. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Hospitable hosts (Rabia), delicious dishes, beautiful presentation and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Canberra. See less
