Amending my old review from Great to Good. The Pies definitely vary by who makes them. The first time and the next few times I ordered Nick was there, and the pies were awesome, 5-star, worth the extra driving. These past few times Nick was not there and the pies were just fair, and no longer worth going out-of-the-way for. They used to also have awesome Cannoli but no cannoli these days. But they do still have Fresh Mushrooms available, so that's an extra star right there! See less

Ive known Nick and fam for 30 years. I was a very regular customer until i moved away. I went back for dinner and it brought me right back. Amazing food. See less

I was just really hungry on my way to my friend's house. I see this place and think thank you, because I love pizza. I got a tomato basil slice and it was so delicious flavorful and juicy. I wish I had time for another. Definitely need to stop by again to try more See less

Called to order a pie with banana peppers, didn't have them, asked for black olives and were out. Ordered pie anyway and was told 30 minutes, I was only 10 minutes away and was unable call back to to cancel because of spotty cell service. Thankfully, because the pizza was one of the best I've had in area and was done in 20 minutes and my wait wasn't bad at all. I'll be back!! See less

I had chicken la francisco with angel hair pasta and a salad with house dressing. The meal was out standìngly delicious and very filling. I was well stuffed when I left. This is the best true Italian food you can get up here in New York out side of the little Italy in the City. Highly recommend it to everyone, a hidden jewel in the country. See less

When Nick is doing the cooking all is excellent. Beyond that the food is mediocre. The chicken Marsalis has been very tough, the pizza is fair, sometimes pillow pie. Their idea of a thin crust needs attention, Their thin crust is the same as other pizzerias regular pie. perhaps a better micrometer. See less

After living here for 7 years I finally tried nicks pizza. We ordered chicken parm pizza, a Stromboli and spaghetti and meatballs. The food was surprisingly good. Never eating there before and having no expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and tasty. I’m pretty tough on most places because I’m a jersey guy originally and Hoboken is my go to pizza town. The restaurant was clean and the staff seemed friendly enough. Their were a couple guys making pizza and they smiled and said hi when I walked in. A younger lady quickly asked if I needed help, and the prices are very reasonable. The only complaint I have is the lady that took my order over the phone was rude and treated me like I was inconveniencing her by calling in my order. Our go to pizza place, always good generous amount of toppings delicious sauce and perfect crisp yet fluffy crust. It's May 2020 and I need to update my review, they have gone above and beyond during lock down and it's amazing. The staff is always busy but always kind and helpful. I also have to say I think they tweaked something in their pizza recipe because it has been tasting even better lately. Some new herbs or something cause wow it definitely has a boosted flavor. Called over the phone to order a personal pan pie, they said they don’t do personal pies. Went there to pickup other food and when we walk in the guy that makes the pizza said “personal pan pepperoni”! Meanwhile the lady said they don’t make personal pies. Then was told it would be a 30 minute wait for my food and ended up waiting 45 minutes. 10 out of 10 would NOT recommend. Definitely never going back there that’s for sure! See less
