Great for a quick and cheap meal. We ordered 2 rice sets (1 with 3 meats, 1 with 3 veges) and roti and it was only $30. Not the absolute best malay or indo food, but still satisfies! See less

A cheap alternative to Indo-Malay food in Melbourne. A stroll away from Unimelb at Parkville. Best advice: go with the combo menus! They take card payments for a minimum 10 AUD purchase (as pictured). Wouldn’t say the best tasting, but it somehow brings me back home. See less

This is definitely an hidden germ if you are looking for very authentic Malaysian food. They have varieties of curry and it is super tasty. You can mix and choose whatever you wanted. They deep fried fish give the crunch you need for your rice. You can also choose coconut rice if wanted. Price are definitely affordable. This restaurant is medium size. Big group are welcome. Staff are very friendly, but sometimes can be very busy. Walking distance to Melbourne central. Plenty of car parking nearby. Very convenient with public transport. Tram stop is just outside. The authentic Malaysian food. The taste never changed for the last 10 years. Good thing about this restaurant is the hot meal is still served under $10 ( 2 meats plus one vege with rice), where else can you find a sit in dinning place with this price tag? See less

This is a cash only place. Tried the Roti Murtabak which was like a thick paratha with chicken fillings along with curry & Nasi Goreng Kampung this is a must try dish it tasted like Mumbai Fried Rice only thing is ask them not to put the dry fish topping.

Norsiah's kitchen is fully owned by Muslim, from Singapore. The owner of this restaurant provide Halal food for Muslims especially, and also for Non-Muslim or who wanna to try Singaporean, Malaysian, and Indonesian taste of food. The price is very cheap and reasonable. Located near to University Of Melbourne, Pelham Musolla and, at the front of the restaurant, there are also tram railway so on. See less

Incredibly authentic nasi padang. Expect cheap and delicious comfort food. For $8 you get to pick 3 dishes (2 meat + vege) to have with rice. Pro tip: If you didnt pick a curry dish, you can always request for curry (without the meat) to be poured over your rice (on top of your included 3 dishes) at no charge. See less
