Just ate some of the best take away meal we had throughout the lockdowns. The spice and taste was superb, please support this place, they need to be around for longer! Portion size is very generous too. Let’s hope we can visit in person again soon. See less

If you haven't had the pleasure yet, I highly recommend Northside wines for dinner, wine and a catch up with friends. The staff are beyond lovely and really across their wine and food selections. They have done a reno at some stage and the place looks fantastic and the vibe is great. Fantastic night! See less

I'm a local and frequent NW quite regularly. The food is always good and the selection of wine is great. Tried to support them as much as possible over lockdown with their takeaway menu as well and really glad they're thriving! My last dine in visit there was great - we had a friend that had some food allergies and they were super accommodating, the chef was very understanding to our needs and omitted some ingredients but still managed to make everything taste delicious! We had an impromptu dinner there last night and OH MY were we blown away! The venue itself is super cosy and cute and definitely a neighbourhood gem. We were so impressed with each and every dish. The flavours were incredible, the portions generous and the prices very reasonable. The cocktails were unique and tasty and the wine list offers a huge variety of local suppliers. We’ve had our reception at Northside. Due to the ever changing COVID landscape, we had to spontaneously drop in numbers: no problem for these guys, they reduced the food spend and allocated a bit extra on the drinks. Staffs’ super friendly and welcoming. They really care in the true sense of hospitality - whilst we were very well looked after, they orchestrated the room and vibe. We were so so happy to have made the choice to hold our reception there! See less

We have ordered the lockdown date night meal tonight, I’ve just finished eating it. And I needed to write a review ASAP! It was sensational! As two uni students our pennies are very valuable... and our pennies have been well spent! Our meal arrived hot (which is a luxury). We ordered the salt and pepper squid, the beef cheek and the lamb shank. It was all glorious! The meat fell apart and was extremely flavourful. The Shiraz it was paired with was beautiful. We have had the best night celebrating finishing the uni semester and we’re so glad we chose Northside wines to help us celebrate. See less

We held our daughter's birthday at Northside Wines and the experience was fantastic! Our friends and family commented on the food in particular which was absolutely delicious. Special mention to the staff who were attentive and responsive throughout the night. Would highly recommend this venue for functions, they are really easy to deal with, flexible and accommodating. Great ambience and vibe. The collection of wines was excellent, we liked all the ones we tried. The staff is friendly, service is super attentive. It would be 4 stars but my duck was very chewy and tough. My fingers were sore from cutting through it by the time I was done. The rest of the food was good. I'd go back but never order the duck again. See less
