Overall, a great experience and place to dine for a casual get together. For first experience, I was very impressed considering the price you pay for “all you can eat”. The food quality was good (had good flavours) and the service was quick despite the restaurant being 70% plus capacity. The only downside is the proportions were small (especially sharing amongst four), so we found ourselves ordering many plates again and again of the same things. However, I will be definitely returning. See less

The food was beautiful. However….. No split bills; when you charge per head, it shouldn’t be that hard- most restaurants cope with this these days. We were on a table of 9, squashed in the back corner, with 2 other tables of similar sizes. The tables were way too close. Strangely there was space nearby where one of these tables could have been. It was way too noisy; we could hardly hear the people next to us or the staff. Due to the noise and squeeze, we couldn’t wait to leave, despite the food being really nice. See less

I honestly could not fault the service and food tonight. We celebrated my sons 16th birthday with family and all walked out with smiles on our faces. I actually miss counted the amount of people in our group and staff were very accommodating…. Food was delicious and plenty of it. We bought in a cake and staff were extremely helpful with presentation..checking if it was a 61st or 16th. Thankyou to all the staff tonight,..5 stars from us. I have been to this Okami a couple of times, usually it is good. The food and service is great. However I was just a bit disappointed tonight. I got a confirmation booking from Okami asking to confirm and if we have any requests. I politely confirmed and requested a booth table, this is why I chose this Okami. I preferred the booth as it’s better for social distancing and Covid times. We also had a guest who needed to be social distanced due to health reasons. We showed up showing our booking and vaccination certificates. The staff member sat us down at a booth with the cutlery set up, I was very pleased with this. However two minutes later the same staff member said “sorry this isn’t your table” without any reason given and moved our utensils to another table that wasn’t set up and half set up our table. We didn’t feel safe in Covid times and there wasn’t enough social distancing at that table. Both the booth and the table had the same amount of seats available. So I don’t understand the reasoning behind us being moved. We also had to get up from our table a few times to order more food. I can understand it being busy on a Friday night though. See less

Disgusting service. Pre ordered for 545pm on menu log. Order was accepted by resturant and I contacted menu log at 610pm as order had not been received. Driver was assigned by menu log and then at 630pm order was cancelled by resturant. Menu log driver states resutrant was close yet they do all you can eat. Second time this has happened. Do not offer home delivery if you are going to disappoint customers. See less

Been here a few times now, quality can vary but have settled on a 3/5. Seems like a high paced all you can eat, especially for the price, you can't go wrong. Some of these other reviews just make no sense, what are you expecting for a $35 all you can eat? That is also pumping our 100's of online orders. I agree some of the dishes are hit and miss, but are still very much edible. Some came out with a lot of sauce than necessary. Flavours are a little dull, but honestly if you are treating this like a buffet like I did, these just fly past and you already have your next dish. I will be trying out other Okami places to see if quality varies from place to place. See less

What an experience. You wouldn't usually associate "all you can eat" with Japanese food but Oh My Lord what a blessing Highly recommend this as far as value for money goes you can't get any better The food is freshly cooked to order and is absolutely delicious. I'm coming back soon as I can absolutely phenomenal place I can't believe it took me so long to get this place All the food was top notch. Funny that fried rice is not quintessential Japanese but the fried rice here was fantastic Take your whole family you won't regret it ! See less

New place that took over the old Gold Fish restaurant. We were very exciting that a Japanese buffet was opening up in our local area. We decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. Everything tasted amazing and was very freshly made. They had a good selection on their menu. We absolutely loved their home-made black sesame and green tea ice creams. One bite and you can taste all the flavours of black sesame and green tea. You can definitely tell they had been home-made. We will definitely be heading back there many more times. See less
