On Flinders is a nice place to go to, the food is hot, and tasted pretty good overall. However the food took quite a while to come out, and there were about 5 minute gaps between meals being drlivered. But overall the place is a nice place to go to for breakfast or brunch. See less

The worst breakfast experience ever. Th chef was at the supermarket for 15 mins after I ordered. I left after waiting over half an hour for my takeaway food! The bacon was undercooked, the banana bread was soggy… RUBBISH!! Will never return. See less

Was there on a Sunday morning ordering a takeaway coffee. Coffee was decent enough but took over 15 minutes, not many customers there but they were all wondering what was going on, were asking for menus and water. The staff were lost. See less

Had a fantastic couple of pizzas here last week! Incredibly high quality of food - traditional and fresh. The owner was really friendly and the whole experience made us want to go back again. Really appreciate this little eatery. Looking forward to going back for brunch one day soon. See less

We visited On Flinders on a Sunday and it wasn't so busy. We ordered the 'Naked Breakfast' and a custom toast with avocado and haloumi cheese. The overall experience was okay. The table that we had was wobbly that we had to fix ourselves, the coffee was not too bad and the food was good. It was a little bit surprising that the cafe didn't have much Covid guidelines in place, though. We had to ask for "where to check-in" as we dined in. The staff gave us a notebook that he had to get from the corner of the room, hidden behind a pot of basil which no one would even think of as a sign-in sheet. See less

Service was incredibly slow. It took an hour for us to get our meal and when it arrived one of the orders was wrong. They were unorganised as a table that had been seated after us received their food before us. Just an overall bad experience, food and coffee where okay, definitely not worth the wait. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them but I wont be recommending them for now. See less

My family and I had a Friday dinner here and On Flinders dis not disappoint. A truly flavourful arrabiata--not too spicy, not too mild--for my wife and garlic bread that exploded with flavour were the star choices. I also had fish and chips that were made from scratch and just delightful. My two kids had the prawn and garlic pizzas, respectively, which they also enjoyed. Also had great service. Overall a good experience, and we'll definitely return when we're in the area. See less

Can't speak highly enough of this place. Short version: great food & coffee, friendly staff. Long version: First timers, arrived just before 11am on a Saturday. As we stand outside looking at the "Breakfast served until 11" menu, friendly waitress pops outside and assures us that they're happy to serve us. Once inside, coffees arrived quickly. The strong flat whites we had, using the Lonsdale Roasters blend, were punchy wothout being acidic. The smoked salmon brekky with the slow roasted tomatoes was picturesque! Eggs poached to perfection, like little comets. Our youngest daughter had her heart set on garlic pizza so, despite it being a little bit before official pizza time, the crew happily obliged. Pizza was fluffy, garlicky and gorgeous. Throughout the time we were there, the staff were upbeat, friendly in the way that only Italians can pull off sincerely, and eager to make our time enjoyable. Lovely to visit a place that clearly has a large crew of locals who are treated like family. We'll be back! See less

Sunday breakfast, The wait staff are friendly and attentive, though not all tables are set up. The pricing is very reasonable. Had a Flinders breakfast, which is bacon and eggs, I ordered tomato as a side, but this should be included with bacon and eggs. The food is well executed and the order comes without an excessive wait time. The coffee, while not terrible is Canberra standard and so not good enough to order a takeaway. All in all an excellent choice for a relaxed Sunday breakfast. See less
