A lovely spot near the lake for a rest break. Plenty of seating. Great options for beverages, slices & cakes available. Order at the counter & they bring your order out to your table or to your picnic rug. Family & dog friendly! See less

Great friendly service offering good coffees and hot chocolates, delicious snacks such a Turkish Delight, Baklava, caramel slices and pastries, to name a few. Hot food is available. Located on the Kingston shore at Bowen park for picnics or walks. There is seating available during non Covid restriction times. Parking is nearby though limited. Staff are usually friendly and eager to please. Take a coffee in a paper to go cup as you walk along the lake. Take a snack also. See less

Love this little spot, but there’s some serious room for improvement. Waited 30 minutes for two coffees. I ordered two of the exact same thing, but they managed to make one smaller than the other. Disappointing. Waited 45 minutes for our food. I was concerned they might skimp on presentation due to the time, but to my surprise both dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Such a shame about the wait time though. See less

A wonderfully situated cafè offering relaxing views of the lake and it's surrounding flora. Plenty of food and drink on offer here, and all reasonably priced too. The coffee I had (almond milk flat white) was smooth and rich in flavour. A big thumbs up 👍 for the unique design on the take-away cups too. See less

Lovely space to enjoy the lake views in a green area. We had ice-cream and drinks...simple food choices. Will definitely return for breakfast and coffee ☕ Very few cafes in a green space here in Canberra - so certainly a welcomed choice! Came back for breakfast a day later and was not disappointed! Food was excellent, service good, and it was much busier, but they coped well with the pressure! Still can highly recommend...and the lake view is great! See less

Great views of lake and beyond. Staff are friendly but service is very slow. Outdoor seating is very limited so best to bring a rug or find park bench if you are wanting to eat or have your coffee there See less

Good view of the lake. Very busy place, so there is limited seating and impacts the service speed. Food is well-presented and tasty. However, it feels like there is inadequate social distancing in the covered area. See less

They're always open when everyone else is closed! Good coffee, yummy treats and food, and cyclist friendly. You can sit in the Cafe or down on the grass and look out over the lake. It's a lovely spot that never gets old. See less
