Food quality is great, if only the customer service could be great too...
I visited a month ago or so and have been thinking whether I should post this review, I decided to post it as constructive feedback so the store could improve as a fellow ex-employee of Oporto.
I was waiting at the counter when the cashier came and so I normally moved forward (as you do) to tell my order, I started speaking then she got a phone call, picked up her phone and gave me a rude stare while abruptly putting up her hand as you would if you want someone to stop, I was taken aback by this as I normally visited this store 3-4 times a week to grab food for the way home.
After this happened she proceeded to take my order and kept sighing and grunting while rolling her eyes. when I payed I forgot to tell her that I wanted extra salt as well, so I kindly asked "please could I have extra salt as well? I forgot to tell you" again she rolled her eyes and shook her head angrily. Then when my food was ready I asked for a fork and knife as Im normally given both WHENEVER I have ordered before at this store. She said "Why do you want a fork and knife??" to which I responded "I always get a fork and knife with Chilli & Cheese Chips, so Im asking for it today too?? is that a problem??" she then grabbed the fork and knife and gave it to me and said "Heres your fork and knife" *eye rolling gestures once again while shaking her head and placing hands on hips*.
Honestly this was one of my favourite restaurants and I always love to eat from here until this happened and turned my mood off, this is not a personal attack once again I just want to provide constructive feedback to the company. I love Oporto and it is probably one of the top 3 restaurants I've been to (which is why i gave 3 stars). I would appreciate that this sort of thing does not happen again as it ruined the whole mood of the rest of my day. Best wishes to you all See less
