It is ok. Food is moderately priced and edible. Sometimes you can enjoy a pleasant coffee. On several occasions I have suffered mutant kids that were totally unsupervised by their parents. This always has the effect of turning everyone else's breakfast into a regrettable mistake. See less

Great to see that our fav little Rose Bay cafe, Oscars is in the Ent Book again for 2019/20, so you can get 25% off your bill up to a max of $20. We enjoy coming here for coffees, breakfast or a light meal and the E.B. discount is the cherry on top!. The atmosphere is casual, laid back and relaxed. The friendly Indian guy who works behind the counter makes a mean cappuccino, and it’s always service with a smile. They have a single unisex toilet at the back, with soap and hand towels, but rather dim lighting. Oscars does have a slightly dated look and feel to it, and could do with a makeover, to modernise it and freshen up its appearance. The toilet especially, could do with a lick of paint and better lighting. That would all make it more appealing, and probably help to bring in more customers. See less

Very disappointing. When you charge $17 for a burger, it better be a good one. Chairs are falling apart. The place is full of flies. Toilet is filthy. Food average at best. No idea how it got 4 stars. See less

Haven't eaten here, but these guys are total sweethearts. I parked my car outside Oscar's with the window partly open overnight. It rained. They spotted the gap, and taped a plastic bag over it. When I approached my car the next morning I thought the window had been smashed! But then I realised that it was an act of kindness and care. I was so touched. Thanks Oscars! See less

We went to this cafe every weekend for a year while we lived in the area; great coffee and the staff are really friendly. I would say that the quality of the food isn't consistent, sometimes it's amazing and then the following week it can be very average. They do take feedback well though, and I always felt very comfortable there. Great coffee!! See less
