the ramen noodles are prepared perfectly- tender to the bite with just the slightest bite/ bounce. the miso soup bases are very rich, creamy and pack a punch of flavour. think australian taste, modern, respectful treatment of authentic northern japanese style ramen. the takoyaki might be the best i’ve had in melbourne (at any price point)- perfectly creamy inside with a decent size piece of octopus and crisp Without being greasy on the outside. :) ) only recommendation for improvement and it’s a strong one for the ramen and it’s precooked ingredients (eg the braised mushrooms)- take it easy on the salt/ soy. If you prefer a heavy /loose hand with salt though it may be right up your alley. (5 stars because despite being salty for my palate it’s not uncommonly salty for a casual japanese cafe/ restaurant). ps the moonee pond branch doesn’t have the lobster ramen advertised on the general parco menu! :( See less
