Ordered 1 laksa and 1 nasi lemak ytd through hungry panda, the rice delivered are not well cooked at all its still RAW!! I wondering they have any eyes disease or not. As a Malaysian, I never know nasi lemak only got ONE ikan bilis ONLY!! See less

Poor service and average food. We ordered online through an app however when we arrived to pick up the food they didn't have all the items we ordered and did not want to give us out money back for the item they couldn't provide to us. After a long back and forth they gave us back the money for that item and we took the rest of the food home. The food was very average with one dish (Rendang) inedible. Would not go back and would not recommend. See less

Malaysian cuisine may not look vast but every region has their unique touch, very specific to that region, and believe us when we say that it tastes absolutely different. Penang Road offers that uniqueness very very specific to Penang. Omg!! Char Kway Teow and Nasi Lemak with Beef Curry were 5 / 5. Flavors - Bang on! Tender and Succulent Meat - Bang on! Dishes Cooked Perfect - Bang on! And guess what? It's absolutely inexpensive. This place is quite casual, and you pay prior, and getting your attendant's attention can be difficult but a very small thing yo what is being offered. Definitely retuning!! See less

Shocking! $16 beef curry - 4 dry pieces of beef and hardly any curry. Check out the pic of laksa - looks and tastes more like a hot and sour soup. Called back - refused to accept responsibility. We have been visiting this place for over 3 years regularly, but food quality really dropped lately. Lost a customer. See less

I came with no expectations and was blown away. Quaint little place with a nice relaxing feel. The staff were friendly, spoke great english and eager to serve. The food was amazing. I couldn't get over the serving size. I ordered Chicken and Corn Soup, and Chicken Singapore Noodles (without prawns). Both were full of flavour, soup super hot, and they didn't hold back on ingredients. My noodles photo probably doesn't look like it, but there was heaps of chicken (hiding underneath the pile of noodles). Noodle serving is enough to feed 2. I would definitely recommend this place. Great value for money, comfortable and yummy. See less
