I really do try to ensure I cover the good AND the bad when giving a review. However this is one of the few completely unpleasant experiences I've ever had at any venue.  I might have been the odd unlikely one today out but doesn't change the experience at lunch. The Good: The Owner was friendly, pricing decent and they were pretty fast with the service. Soup broth fantastic. The Bad: Unfortunately in my mixed entree order my chicken wing had half side cold and tough to bite into. After tearing the outside off with my fork, I found it completely raw underneath. Upon mention, they were vaguely perturbed by it and replaced the uncooked wing with two smaller wing pieces (microwaved - to be certain I suppose). Alas due to how they were heated, they were tough. The broth in my soup main was very flavourful, however (and  unfortunately) the ingredients fell a little flat. The tough ginger root stem was not pleasant to chew on but I acknowledge that is personal preference of mine. Overall I will not be returning. I am certain if you went the safer boneless/vegetarian options, you will be unlikely to encounter the same experience but I suggest vigilance in inspecting your meat before consumption. See less

Had a fantastic meal tonight, we arrived 40 minutes before their 9pm closure and the staff went out of way to explain the meals and offered great recommendations. The meal arrived quickly and was the best authentic Thai we have tasted for ages! See less

This place in my opinion has the best thai food in Tuggeranong Valley. Had lunches and dinner by pick up and it has never disappointed us. Keep it up Ploy Thai! (We used to love Thai Urban Kambah but it has changed hands and ? 😫) See less

We just ended up getting dinner here purely because they were open on Sunday night and we were very glad we did! The food is some of the best Thai we've had and it took only 15 minutes to make 3 mains and entrees. Excellent food! See less

Been there multiple times for lunch. Good food at decent price (Lunch Specials). Lady would nudge for cash rather than card most of times. Lately, they have increased price, so I notice fewer people ordering from there. They increase the price for dinner, which is common for restaurants in the area, so can't complain for this particular place. In all, good Thai place for lunch. Will go back. See less

Ordered gluten free laksa due to celiac disease. Paid $46 for 2. Got home and there were wheat noodles under the meat. Had to return and get another one without gluten. Laksa was totally lacking in spice, and the meat and seafood was very pasty and over cooked. There was some unknown green vegetable that was extremely bitter. Won't be returning. See less

Late delivery even when ordered at 4:30pm. When i pointed out it was over an hour late (7:40pm when ordered for 6:30pm), they asked me "what was my point?". Food was cold. Just rude and should not be part of the MenuLog program. Give this place a big miss! P.S. Once we microwaved the delivery, the food wasn't that good anyway! Oh well, you live and learn... See less

Great food, fabulous service. Good area for kids to run about. Shame about the smokers from Spit Shack next door who seemed to be staff and insisted on smoking in the outdoor eating area. Recommend Ploy Thai, but for smoke free go inside! See less
