The balado tilapia and penyet chicken were good. Satay was decent as well. Unfortunately the gado-gado was disappointing. See less

I ordered 2 meals took 1 hr and 10 minutes to come out after asking 3 times ended up leaving without getting fed. Got given half a cup of durian drink after waiting 45 minutes for that. Absolute shambles the city store is WAYYYY BETTER See less

Always wanted to try the city branch but now that its on GlenOsmond theres no reason to miss out. Excellent tilapia fish deepfried. Coconut rice is filling and could do with more coconut flavor/texture. Chicken satay could do with more meat but seafood char kuay teow was brilliant. See less

A little disappointed, plenty of foods running out… Foods distasteful even spring rolls re-fried and oily. Only two workers in the restaurant took long time to serve foods. More prefer another branch See less

Nice place to eat with Indonesian dining table and chair style and also with Indonesian traditional music, but the menu I ordered was not available (not in the list of not available menu which is placed close to the cashier) and the salads were running out. The waiter still asked me to pay 50cents for one container because I couldn't finish my dinner (really? after the lettuce is running out and the lamb curry is not available?). One more thing, the toilet location is good, close to the dining table but the water in the toilet tab is leaking and the toilet is dirty. See less

The city restaurant has better food quality. The the char way teow was over marinated and burnt and the veggie bowl had only cabbage and carrots (no broccoli, bok choy or cauliflower). Both serves were smaller than the city restaurant. See less

Don’t really know where to start. Foods have no flavour, just salty. We had the fried chicken and grilled chicken the size was exceptionally small. Sambal was watery. Gado salad was watery, the peanut sauce had no taste. We had Indonesian food in Melbourne and it tasted way better than this. Idk why people said it’s good in the comments. See less

Good delicious but if you’re a mixed group of vegetarians/vegans and omnivores, they have no idea. You can’t put fish sauce on vegetarian things. Staff seem not to know what/ who they are serving. See less

Definitely recommend this restaurant, simply put the food was fantastic and the service was just as good. Very friendly and inviting place. Some of the best authentic Indonesian cuisine in Adelaide, you can’t go wrong with it. 😊 See less

Pondok Daun is our all time favourite! Used to visit their CBD restaurant when I was student. Husband and I were really glad that they opened another one in Parkside. Car park is easy to find on the street. Can’t have enough of their ayam penyet and tilapia. Large portions at a reasonable price! See less

Really good food and portion. Was there for their opening that had a 20% discount. Only downside is waiting time. But that could be a one time thing as it was their opening day. See less

Tasted like home, as authentic as it gets. The food in the picture is siomay Bandung (dim sum from Bandung) which is fish ball and tofu with peanut sauce. It was delicious. Had difficulty finding parking. See less
