It's time for a review. Tried their food for the first time today and I have got mixed reactions. And I will explain why. Please read till the end.
The bread: sort of round pita bread. Little thicker then your usual pita. Most probubly bought in bulk and didn't taste that fresh. would have been nice if it was store made and Fresh.
The salad: It was fresh mixed salad but the dressing was a let down. Kind of pungent olive/ paprika/ vinegar picklish taste. Didn't like it at all. If you happen to order this meal, suggest to try without the dressing. Perhaps a little lemon dressing with some sumac.
The Dips: Spot on with flavours and well balanced capsicum and carrot dips. Someone might complain about a little after taste of garlic but I like it.
The meat: was a delight to eat. Full of flavours and nicely cooked chicken and lamb sish. Usually, you get this kind of result from overnight marination. One of the best grilled meat I have ever had in a kebab store.
Finally, the big one; THE PRICE: $33 for a mixed grill, probubly not the best one. If you have been to Roxy Kebab in dear park, you can basically take their mix grill and compare side by side. Everything is similar accept at Roxy kebab, you get the beard freah and proper Turkish bread. And salad dressing is not over the top. And $3-4 cheaper as well.
I would go once or twice a week if the price was a bit reasonable. And hoping this is due to lockdown and all and it fgors down nelow $30. Otherwise, not buying again as it's not enough for two people to eat properly.
Thank you for reading through this and have a good day :) See less
