A review of the Punjab curry club forest lake.
We order here at least 2-3 time’s a week and always get the butter chicken with no spice. Today we got the same order we always get and for the third time it had spice in it.
The first time we called and made a complaint but we kept the food even though it wasn’t to our tastes.
The second time we returned the food, having to drive back to the store to get it replaced.
This time we were also given spicy food and we asked for the food to be replaced and our money refunded because this was the third time.
The store was not helpful and told us we needed to wait for the manager to call us.
When she did she argued that the order was made correctly, even though we know from frequent experience that it was spicy, she also argued that she had a family to feed and “could not” refund our money, which was only $30, and we spend more than that regularly.
Eventually she agreed to refund our money, but not replace our incorrect meals, but we have to give back the incorrect food.
But because of the attitude that was given and the lack of ownership by the owner we will no longer be spending our money at this or the Jindalee store.
They have lost our custom, and it appears this is the only way to respond to business that provide incorrect food and take no ownership, or provide basic customer service.
Businesses like this expect you to take what you are given and like it, even when they make the mistake.
All over $30 worth of bad food. See less
