I stayed there on in April this year. It used to be my regular choice of overnight stay when in Canberra for work. During my last stay, my car was damaged by another vehicle in the hotel car park. I accept that this is not the Hotel’s fault, however I have made three requests for the CCTV footage to be reviewed (and supplied if conclusive) so that an insurance claim can be pursued. Each time, I was told someone will get back to me. It’s been 6 weeks and no one has bothered to contact me regarding this. As it would seem that no one cares at this organisation, I will not recommend this Hotel to anyone and will be choosing to stay elsewhere in the future. Surely it can’t be that hard to return a phone call. Poor service. My phone is on 24/7 as part of my work role. I have had no missed calls from the Ramada. To suggest that they have tried to contact me is false. See less

Staff were absolutely rude and unearthing to be helpful towards us and our issues with their room. Bathroom floods, upon asking for help regarding this we were told to use our (only 2 given towels) to dry it up and when asked for more towels were told to pay for them. Absolutely do not recommend this place. The gutter is better, warmer and much drier ! See less

Avoid at all costs. Incompetence of staff and management was exhausting. Steak horribly tough, there was a 2 hour wait, they said it would take 20min. Handles on cupboards in room wobbly. Sliding door to balcony too rusted in place to open. Old and unmaintained. Bathroom fan roars all night, cant be turned off. Stay elsewhere, particularly if you have a long drive ahead of you. The traffic noise competes with fan racket. Staff cant even get change for their washing machine right, it takes them 20min to find coins, then they give you $2 coins for machine that only takes $1. Sums this dump up. See less
