This is literally the best Indian style restaurant short of going to Sydney or Melbourne. On top of being literally mindblowing food, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff, even when stupidly busy, is amazing. They're just so friendly and awesome. See less

Liked the hospitality and welcome. The staff were very friendly and so is the owner. Ordered Lamb Korma and Garlic bread. Lamb was well cooked and very tender, but except for the salt which was on the higher side for korma. See less

We had the most pleasant dining experience at Rama's this evening. We were welcomed to the restaurant, a place we've not been before, so warmly by the owner. All the waitstaff were incredibly polite, delivering quality attentive service. The training of these waiters/waitresses is a real credit to management. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the vegetable samosas, paneer masala, lamb Bombay, roti and the most refreshing mango lassi. The masala had large chunks of homemade paneer (my favourite!) and a lovely smokey thick sauce, while the lamb Bombay had a sweet thick sauce and was equally delicious. Thank you so much for a wonderful night out. We will be back. See less

Absolutely fantastic Indian cuisine served quickly by friendly staff. We were also made to feel welcomed by the owner. The venue was full on a wet Wednesday night yet things were running smoothly. 100% recommended. See less

Never have I had such personable service in such a busy establishment. The food was amazing - highly recommend, but the service made me want to give them many more stars. Was a birthday dinner and with the IGA closed Rama chucked a bottle from my car in the freezer for me to ensure I still got my birthday champagne - thank you so much 🥰 See less

Amazing food as always. Lamb saag is so delicious, recommend for anyone who goes! Minnie and the team super friendly and helpful, can't wait to go again! It can be hard to get a table in busy times so booking ahead is a good idea, particularly if you have a group. The food is always reliable and excellent taste and they make an effort to tailor the spice to request and other preferences. See less

Verdict - great South Indian style food. Full of spices. We were looking for a place to eat in Canberra. Ended up in this place. Came across this Fiji Indian resturant. As never heard of such thing before thought let’s give it a try and it didn’t disappoint. The place has been running for a long time and you can see why when you try their food. We went for a fish and chicken curry. Go for fish for sure. I liked the fact they asked how spicy you want. We went for medium and it was perfect. See less
