We have been regular/rewards Rashays customers for years, but we stopped going to the Woden branch because they have the worst service we’ve experienced in a while. No menu, No cutlery. Sitting there for 10minutes with no one approaching to get our order taken. Occasional lumpy mashed potatoes. Desserts take 20minutes to get served even if we ask them to prepare it midway during meal. Thought we’d give them a chance to improve on this but to no avail. The last straw was: having placed our orders, waited 30mins, noticed the couple next to us (who came in after us) was almost done with their food. Followed up with our order, only to be told that our orders weren’t placed. Have to say the manager/supervisor is nice though (beard guy). The other one, the large guy….. nothing good to say.
Fortunately, there’s a Tuggeranong branch. Complete opposite to Woden branch, service-wise. It’s a 20 minute drive but it doesn’t matter, as the kids like going to Rashays.
Today, 6 months after, we thought we’d try Woden again hoping things have changed. Guess what, it reminded us why we stopped going there in the 1st place. Thank heavens for Tugg branch. See less
