This was easily the best restaurant I have been to in Canberra. The food was great and the portion sizes were generous. The staff were relaxed and very helpful. The atmosphere is equally relaxed and a cozy space. The Tuna tartare was the highlight closely followed by the doughnuts. My partner has dragged me to a lot of places and this is the first one that I want to go back to. See less

Excellent food and service. We visited for a weekend lunch and had the "sort it out" menu. They were very accommodating of our request to include/exclude certain menu items. Everything was really delicious but the highlights for us were the confit tomato on toast, and the ricotta doughnuts. Our group loved the whole experience, it was definitely a memorable lunch. We’ve enjoyed three amazing Rizla experiences! Two have been collaborations which have been a fabulous combination of food and perfectly matched wines. One time was enjoying incredible food from the Rizla standard menu and drinks list. With so many options to choose from in Canberra and in Braddon in particular, Rizla definitely is one that we keep coming back to!! Friendly staff, efficient service but you never feel rushed, spacious, great atmosphere… so much that makes the experience memorable above the food and wine. Looking forward to our next visit. Recommend their set menu which is affordable by Canberra standards ($65pp), tastes good, and is filling (for our group of 4, we were given: x3 entrees, x2 mains with x3 sides, and x2 desserts). The portion sizes are really well considered with equal servings provided for each person in a group (we were pleasantly surprised that each person got to have the same number of dessert donut balls)! The mushroom main was an amazing highlight from an overall tasty menu. Service was good. See less

We had an excellent experience with Rizla on Saturday night as I caught up with a friend from Melbourne. Andy and the team were professional, responsive and lots of fun. The Riesling (we chose a local one from ‘Four Winds Vineyard’) and menu were absolutely delicious and the location felt both tucked away and private but still offered an ambient buzz near the rainbow roundabout in Braddon. Such a memorable time at Rizla. I went there for a post-dinner wine not realising that they have a full food menu. All of the dishes we had were incredible - super fresh and tasty - but the best part was the service. They were so welcoming and chatty. We had a great time here! See less

We've eaten at Rizla 7 times in the past 15 months both in the restaurant & take away during lockdown. It is always fantastic. Food is always on point, generous portion sizes, and the service is some of the best in the Berra. The food is always fresh and seasonal. The team is always wiling to provide wine advice suited to your budget & taste. Andy and the team have created a casual fine dining experience that is unlike any other. Great job guys. See less

What a memorable experience, the service was out of this world and it was awesome food. The owner was so passionate and really did everything to ensure we had a great Sunday lunch.
