Ordered the Special Ox Trail pho - meat was tough and soup lacked flavour. Spring rolls were served w sweet chilli sauce... not sure how authentic that is? Sadly will not be returning. See less

UPDATE: I was going to delete the review but I can only edit it for now. Thanks for the offer of a refund and offering a meal. I'd be happy to just get the fried rice I order yesterday. Thanks for the offer, I appreciate. ----------------------------------- After waiting 40min for a fried rice, I walked away. Apparently I wasn't the only one for which they stuff the order up. I understand you can be busy but at least keep people updated. Needless to say I won't go back, too bad I can't give it a zero. See less

Been here three times over the last month and have really enjoyed it each time. The chicken wings entree was great as were both the pork and chicken rice dishes. My favourite main would be the green curry noodles. Good food, good prices (2 main dishes and 2 entrees usually around 50 bucks or less) and the service has been excellent each time (although only gotten takeaway). See less

Cozy little Vietnamese restaurant on Chapel with all your favourites. They do rice paper rolls, pho, vietnamese bun rolls and more! I ordered a chicken and beef rice paper roll which was made fresh and served with dipping sauce. Very decent sized roll and it was quite filling too. Service was friendly, attentive and hospitable. Rock Pho is a cute little Vietnamese restaurant that recently opened in South Yarra. They have both indoor and outdoor seating - we opted to sit in their nice little courtyard since the weather was pleasant. Their menu is classic and simple. We tried the Lemongrass Beef Rice Paper Rolls, the Vietnamese Salad, the Special Rock Pho which had beef brisket, rare beef and oxtail, and the Grilled Pork Rice. The rice paper rolls and salad were both very refreshing and perfect on a summer day. Whilst the pho broth was quite fatty, the dish was still very flavourful and the oxtail was a nice addition. Head down to Rock Pho for a tasty Vietnamese feast if you're around the area. Light and healthy, or even something hearty, they've got you covered. The Beef Pho and Grilled Chicken Vermicelli Salad excellent in both taste and execution, as are the Lemongrass Beef Rice Paper Rolls and Pork Banh Mi. Fresh and bright flavours abound, as one would expect from Vietnamese cuisine. Simple, fuss free and yummy, definitely tick all the boxes! See less

Went to Rock Pho a couple of weekends again ago to start the weekend off right & right WE DID! We tried a variety of dishes from their menu including Lemongrass Beef Rice Paper Rolls, Grilled Pork Banh Mi, Beef Brisket Pho & Barbecue Chicken Vermicelli Salad. We were SO impressed by how fresh everything was! The other thing that stood out to us was how well seasoned all the meats were. My favourite dish had to be the Grilled Pork Banh Mi!!! Would absolutely recommend Rock Pho to anyone in the Chapel St area who loves Vietnamese food! See less
