A gem in Sparkill! A reservation is a must. I went on a Sunday for a table of 2 at 5pm and they only had one available. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was elegant. Update: new photos from another meal! Delicious!!! See less

The pork chop & lamb were beyond delicious! .My few stars is they don’t celebrate patrons birthdays. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Dropped over $200 for 2 people . Waiter was told it was a birthday celebration as soon as we got there. When he brought the check I asked about a birthday dessert. Did he forget? (Candle in a piece of cake or ice cream? )It would have completed an excellent evening out. Was told “not their policy “ to celebrate by owner . Just letting others know if you go there for a birthday don’t expect anything special. We will definitely continue to eat there. Food is amazing.She did offer a free drink before we left. See less

We had dinner here, last night, was great. A good crowd for 8:45 on a Monday night. The hostess was amazing, she took our order over the phone while we were en route so we could have dinner (kitchen closes at 9). We sat at the bar where we tried a Grapefruit Dead. A few, actually. We had the market salad, the slab bacon, the smoked Berkshire pork chop, and the crispy chicken. All the food was wonderful. A stand out, for me, was the crisp shredded green apple accompanying the slab bacon, and the cherry sauce with the pork. We also had the panko onion rings—yum. See less

last night was 2nd time eating here. 1st time was very good, came back with friends last night. very disappointed - 1. many things on the web site menu were not on menu(why) 2. after ordering our lamb chops- server returns tell us sorry out of lamb chops. 3. after ordering our food took for ever to get our meals. for a place that's not cheap- will not be returning. Very nice restaurant. We all started with a round of cocktails and they were very delicious. Next we ordered a variety of seafood platters which was fresh and tasted great. My favorite thing was my entree, the filet with mashed potatoes. The dessert here was a fantastic way to wrap up your meal and I highly recommend the mini donuts. See less

I have to say, the food is VERY good. But the price of the meal and drinks will put you in debt. This is a special occasion location to indulge in some really interesting and well prepared cuisine, as well strong and addicting cocktails. I left full and happy. Highly recommend, but at this price, can not come as frequently as I would like. Do not leave without trying the Crab soup! See less

I went here two weeks ago for a second date and what a perfect vibe! We are definitely coming back. The ambiance was great and our server was phenomenal. I wish I could tell you her name. She was so on top of everything. I don't drink and it's nice that the place has mocktails. The food was delicious. The clam chowder I had and the steak with the cherry sauce and cauliflower as my side was EXCELLENT. Cooked to perfection and my dates meal was great too. The staff was wonderful and it has such a grown and sexy vibe to the place I would definitely recommend this place to go to dinner. See less

Dinner with a friend. Called last minute for a table, and was offered the walk in table. The service was attentive with lots of personality. We had menu favorites, goat cheese toast with mushrooms is heavenly (can't wait to try again, I'll ask for extra mushrooms). A fish special ?? (similar to branzino), fresh and spicy. Not a dish we will order again, based upon personal taste, perfect for others. We'll be back again. See less

TO DIE FOR. I love their new location and their food is incredible as always. The goat cheese toast is my favorite on the menu and their beignets always cause a feeding frenzy at dessert. My steak was a bit charred for my liking, BUT was cooking perfected inside. I come here at least once a month and will continue to! See less

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Roost Restaurant in September of 2020. Roost is a SPECTACULAR and classy space for small to medium sized events. Beyond the beautiful atmosphere, the service and food is outstanding! Maria, Kevin, Kate and the team at Roost took incredible care of us; our guests are still raving about the food and cocktails. Every single detail was perfect; from the cocktails, to the desserts, decorations, live music and everything in between, I give Roost my highest recommendation and 5-stars.
