We recently headed up in to the sky (pretty high for a local!)….to the new Rosana Bistro and Bar nestled in Level 8 of the newly finished Holiday Inn.
There is free 3 hr parking in the base of the building straight off the main street making access is super easy and weather proof.
With gorgeous uninterrupted views to the city through floor to ceiling windows wrapping their way around the entire seating and bar space, evening drinks here with your crew are a must!
I ordered the Hugo cocktail (read below), 250g grain fed striploin which was beautifully cooked and the Valrhona chocolate ganache tart.
There were a few comments that there was still a little work to go with the food but it was all nice and we are keen to see the kitchen flourish as it becomes more established.
Their drinks list includes 10 cocktails from loved Aperol Spritz to a delicious Elderflower, Prosecco mix called the Hugo and their signature drink A Rose By Another Name, there is enough to fill the evening with a taste journey. Of course, there are spirits, wines & tap beers also.
Open from 6am to 10pm daily you can currently order from Breakfast Menu, All Day Menu and Dinner Menu, offerings inc Crispy Skin Pork Belly, Mixed Cheese Ravioli, Slow Cooked Pork Shoulder burger and Pan Fried Salmon being some of the main options. See less
