Overall pretty average. Got the parma, burnt on the bottom and the cheese tasted a bit weird. The 'salad' is just a store bought mixed lettuce with no dressing in it, chips were Luke warm. Partners fish was just okay. Value for money not great considering the size of the meals, and charging $5.50 for a can of coke they'd buy for 66c is a bit rich. Positioning good, customer service friendly. See less

Rustys? More like dustys. Had Sunday breakfast here due to being able to fit in a large group fast. Orders came out wrong, and an older male from the kitchen argued with us about what we ordered and being extremely rude. Food was average for the price, was the quality of going to the super market and making it at home, English muffin wasn’t even warm or cooked, hollandaise sauce was cold. Meals were very small for the cost. Coffee was spilt on one of us. One of us were told to write down our own coffee order because staff were “too busy”. The cafe wasn’t busy. Started okay and got a table quickly but following that absolutely terrible service, it took 1.5 rs to receive food from time of arrival - only ordered a focaccia, egg and bacon roll and chips. It was busy but staff seemed very disorganized and grumpy - no apology for long wait and they almost seemed annoyed to serve us. Food was okayish - nothing special See less

Very poor. Meals are hardly what they seem from the menu description. Breakfast portions were disappointing and lacked taste yet charged a premium. Service was unfortunately slow. Your money is paying for the view of the water across the road. See less

I had the worst food experience at this place. Sorrento is a beautiful place but this place just brings disgrace. The $19 Belgium Waffle is three piece of frozen thawed waffle which is not even thawed properly. It taste stale and dry and I could taste the crunch was of sugar. The “compote” is pure thawed berries without sauce. The $24 “Norwegian” Benedict is a piece of smoked salmon and pouched egg on a small muffin I don’t know what was Northern European about it. Rubbish. The hollandaise sauce is a cheap fatty salty thick squeeze from a super market bottle. As much as I like to support local business and I don’t like to leave negative reviews, this Resturant or I don’t know if you you can call it a restaurant. They are just thieves, that everyone should stay away from. All dishes are simply assembled from cheap ingredients from the local super market. Stay away from here. See less

Had a craft beer and fish and chips. Wife had a chicken salad. All I can say is the place has a homely atmosphere with the staff exceptionally welcoming. If your in Sorrento drop by. Well done. See less

Went for lunch with a group of 6, it was a nice day but they had no tables outside so we were seated inside. Shortly we saw a group leave and I asked the waitress if we could move to their table outside in the sun, she said fine and that they would clear it. We waited but because it was so busy and didn’t want the table to get taken we moved over to it and to help I neatly stacked everything to the side for the waitress to take when she was free. They came, cleared it away then while my friend went inside to see if they had a bathroom we saw a larger older women loudly slamming our chairs at the table we were sitting at inside back into place. My friend overhead her going off about us moving and how she told us to wait until the table was cleared (which was bizarre because we never spoke to her or got told that) so we were pretty uncomfortable as we weren’t trying to be impolite and if she had communicated with us instead of throwing a tantrum I would of explained and apologised. Our food arrived and I had the fish and chips with a glass of orange juice which was $35 so we were expecting good quality but the fish was so horribly dry, over cooked and didn’t taste fresh, the chips were badly over done too and the coleslaw was ok but for that price it was so disappointing. Overall it was an awkward experience with rude staff and expensive terrible food, would not recommending to anyone. See less

Staff are absolutely lovely. Very, very friendly and make you feel very welcome. Food, however, is a bit meh. Not awful, but just average and expensive for what it is. Bit of a shame - promised much but felt it failed to deliver... Coffee was good though 🙂 Barista is a real character 🙃 See less

Great little place. Made even better by the sarcastic barista with the blonde streak in his hair. He was an absolute crack up! Good portion sizes for breakfast and the black pudding is to die for! My only issue was that we were charged $5 for a minuscule serve of hollandaise (which is ridiculously cheap to make) which did not contain enough vinegar to flavour it. Also we did not receive a water bottle for our glasses. If we're ever in Sorrento again you can be sure that we'll be back! :) See less

Best calamari I've ever had the food is to die for ,the owner and the staff are exceptional. Beautiful location near the beach with awesome views ,you can dine indoors or outdoors. Please do pay a visit if you are there you won't be disappointed. See less

3.7. Just a coffee stop today but a very good one. There’s a nice bay view from this cafe. There was some sun off and on and the blue water looked chilled but lovely anyway. The coffee was unexpectedly really good. We both loved it. Even though it was in the afternoon and getting on towards closing, the service here was cheery and friendly. We liked it here. We’ll be back one day for food. See less
