Authentic Japanese food. It’s great to have a local place with such quality food. We’ve become regulars here and often get takeaway but eating is excellent too. We have loved the food even though we settled on a pretty much settled menu. The meal has always been served quickly considering varying booking sizes but we’re never disappointed. Hard working proprietors to be admired. An asset to Mornington.👍😘🍷🐰 See less

Paid $65 and was very excited for a lockdown sushi feed but was disappointed in the size. Some of the sashimi was too tough to eat. First sushi since having a baby and was a shame. See less

Food is Great, but small serving and the waitress is not friendly. She obviously ignoring us but with the other table she is smiling. She serves the other table nicely but not ours. The only difference is that we are asian. Be polite girl, dont be racist with your own color. See less

Came here purely because it’s rated so high and it was a waste of time sadly. It took 25 minutes to even take our order, and it holds like 20 people max hahs. Then took 40 minutes for a starter to come, food was sooo lack lustre too. Guess my advice would be to prioritise your customers in store. You were too busy focusing on the Menulog and Uber drivers than people who made the actual effort to come into your restaurant. A table of 6 left because you didn’t take their order, we almost did too. So 1 star, save your money, much better Japanese restaurants not that far away. See less

Sakura Sushi was introduced to us by dear friends as a 'cheap and cheerful' place which it certainly is. Good value, the food is great and the people cheerful and ready to help. Would definitely recommend. I believe the take away is also great. See less

This is an authentic themed Japanese restaurant which never has always cease To amaze me. They always make sure there food is well presented and tastes delicious they definitely know how to put the costumers first. Good food, reasonably priced. Our family would have enjoyed larger portion sizes. I felt as though they could have had more help on the floor as the girl looked quite overwhelmed with looking after all of the tables on her own. It would have been nice for the waiter to come back to the table to ask how our meals were and to offer dessert or more food. Felt a little rushed to get out of there. See less

The environment is clean and the outfield staff is friendly. However, the food is very general, not delicious, the chef's attitude towards food is very bad, from my photos can be seen, the rice on the rice is casually dug, and not flat! What a great little place! My son and I stumbled on this little restaurant while we were in town for a basketball tournament. The food is amazing! The prices are so reasonable. We were so impressed. We even came back the following night! Will definitely visit again if we are in town. See less
