The food here was surprisingly ordinary considering its review rating. We ordered the Mixed Kebab, Mantu Dumplings, Bolani and Naan and I was pretty disappointed with the quality when compared to other Afghan restaurants. Maybe have been a one off night. See less

As a frequent customer, I must say the food tastes amazing. the Chicken skewers are always juicy and not dry. The Biryani is delicious, however the chicken has been dry on a couple of occasions, but it still tastes great. The bread is fluffy and fresh. The restaurant provides eat in and takeaway and has always been clean. They also sell delicious cakes. See less

We got the 3 assorted and the Koftas. Koftas we’re great the flavour and sauce from them was amazing. Due to covid we had to sit outside and we had some wasps flying around and on our food. The staff handled it well but we ended up packing up and going somewhere else to eat. Would definitely recommend and will be back. See less

It was ok. Quick. Nice service. But nothing special. Also probably won't buy the half chickens when you see where they are stored in the back kitchen. If you want the real deal go to The Ghan at Prospect. See less

Lovely, quiet and clean is what I notice as I wait for my take away meal. The food is authentic and at very good prices. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I really enjoy visiting for either a dine-in meal or a take-away. I hope you can read what's on my photo so you can see what's on their menu. It's a pretty cheap dinner. Where else can you get a healthy meal for under $10? It's certainly better than other nearby fast food joints, hands down! Not only are some excellent meat and/or vegetarian choices but there are some beautiful sweets. See less

This place gets busy and for good reason - once you try the food, you’ll understand! The mixed grill plate is sensational and when it’s served, you’ll think that you won’t be able to get through all of it but I bet you will! How do they make rice that good?!! See less

Went here to order some takeaway meals. An Afghani acquaintance had recommended this place and it was on my way home. The young lady (Tahira) and Ali at the front counter were very cheerful and happy. Their immediate reaction was very friendly and welcoming. This makes such a difference when visiting any restaurant/cafe for the first time. The restaurant was not very full at the time but they didn't rush me to place my order. I ordered the chicken biryani, manto dumplings and the bolani. These are the three items that I order whenever I visit any Afghani restaurant for the first time. If they can't get this right then... There were quite a few customers who came in to pick up their takeaway orders while I was waiting for my order to be prepared. The restaurant is spacious and has larger tables for families and large groups. There is a selection of desserts available as well. The car park area is quite adequate and the restaurant is just off the main road. When I got home and unpacked the food, I was surprised at how well the manto dumplings were packed. That level of packing is something that I haven't EVEN seen in Japan! It was 'zabardast'👍👏 The biryani was good but the manto dumplings and the bolani were far tastier than in some of the other Afghani restaurants. And the portions were large and the prices extremely reasonable. All in all, definitely a place to recommend if you are in the mood for some good Afghani food. Next time I'll have to try the Kabuli biryani... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ See less
