Further to my older dine-in review below it's worth noting that this restaurant does delivery very well. I ordered directly from the website. Secure card payment. Delivery was free for my order. Food took about 45 minutes, was fresh, hot, and wonderful. Will definitely do it again.
We dropped in for an early dinner on a Thursday night. No booking. Three kids, including one in a high chair. For some restaurants, we're a bit of an acid test. This place passed with flying colours.
Friendly and polite staff made us feel welcome--great with the kids. Quick service. Excellent food.
Lamb and chicken off the spit were excellent: well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. Salad could've shone a bit brighter, but it wasn't bad, and no-one expects the salad to take center place on a plate of spit-roasted meat. Pita bread was fresh, soft, and perfectly toasted.
If the beers were $2 cheaper a pop, I'd've had two, so it's probably better for me that they weren't. My wife had fruit juice, and seemed happy with the choice.
The kids' menu chicken nuggets were real chicken--probably made in-house--and I think they've ruined our older two for the everyday processed stuff (not a bad thing!). The chips received a thumbs-up from our two resident chip experts as well.
Desserts were wonderful, but I love both baklava and Turkish delight, so I'm biased. The berry pastry from the specials menu was wonderful.
All-in-all a great experience. We'll be back. See less
