Really not good. Completely inauthentic Japanese. Don't do it. And hideously expensive for not great food. Nasu Dengaku inedible. Gyoza were Chinese dumplings. Tonkatsu was tough as leather. Edamame were ok. See less

Don't be fooled by the interior, this restaurant is serving very high quality Japanese food. I had an appointment nearby and stopped by for a quick lunch. The lunch bento and sukiyaki beef were fantastic value, each coming with miso soup also. Beef was fantastic and also very large bowl size. Tempura was very good. Salmon sashimi was melt in your mouth. Chicken teriyaki was a little unusual, lots of sweet onion and a not so sweet taste. Green tea was $2 per person but we were given a whole pot. See less

Supreme food, always totally fresh, good value, lovely hosts. We have been frequent customers for about 12 years esp for Friday office lunches and have taken many guests and referred many friends and associates. Highly recommend. See less

Busy for a Wednesday night. Staff were quick and polite. Food was fresh and came out reasonably quickly. Food was well presented, fairly standard affair for Japanese food. Price was on the higher side of average. Would eat here again. See less

Nice dining environment and quality service. First time order the Sushi boat for 2 person , they have fresh sashimi and many kind of the sushi. A little bit expensive but incredible size. The gyutan good but if they can be sautéed more tender that be great. My favorite is they homemade sake ，it is highly recommended. See less

Great food but it isn't cheap. Cost $106.50 for 3 mains + 1 entree + 1 soup and an iced tea. The price doesn't bother me because I don't like cheap Japanese food. You get what you pay for. The quality of the food is very high. The presentation is top notch. Service is good. They lose one star because the waiter forgot to bring us our drinks. I had to remind him about the iced tea. Then, near the end of the meal, I realized he didn't bring us any water despite specifically requesting it when we ordered. The restaurant wasn't busy - it was half empty - so I'm not sure why this happened... Food was great, so I still left a tip. See less

Service and atmosphere is pretty decent! Guess my expectation of Japanese 🍱 is pretty high. Personally, it is all about the 🍚 😉. Suggest to use the original Japanese rice or short grain. Avoid using long grain as it’s really for Chinese food. Keep it real guys. Almost there. I think it’s worth to invest on the correct Japanese rice to start. Hence the 3 stars. Keep it up. See less

Invited for dinner I tried a range of dishes ranging from sushi, tempura, shabu shabu and other smaller items. The sushi boats have a good variety and the fish is fresh. I really enjoyed the takoyaki here, nice and crispy on the outside and hot and gooey inside. The beef for the shabu shabu was fresh and the soup base was flavoursome. The tempura batter was light and crispy which to me is the most important aspect of tempura. Overall a nice casual Japanese restaurant which is perfect for any occasion See less
