Made an order through DoorDash. They confirmed my order and proceed to work on it.
One dasher went to restaurant and then they cancelled the delivery, then another dasher went and cancelled the delivery also. I asked the third dasher to please give me a call, he called me and told me that the reason was the restaurant was closed. This was 1.5 hours after I ordered.
Why do you confirm orders if you have the restaurant closed? I had to contact DoorDash and got my money back but many places were already closed. I understand you have to close the shop for XYZ, but you need to not take orders you can’t fulfill. Made an official complaint with DoorDash about it See less
