Very underwhelming. Ordered the Hawaiian Parmie. It sounded good on the menu. BUT.... really it was nothing like I was expecting. A small chicken fillet smothered in that cheap disgusting generic bbq sauce every fast food venue seems to use. 4 small square pieces of pineapple. Common guys a pineapple ring doesn't cost that much. And topped of with plastic cheese on top. Was really a disappointing meal. See less

Amazing quality food, that offer both regular and vegan options. The chips here are to die for. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals came out exactly how I ordered them and in a good time frame considering the quality of the schnitzel! See less

I love this place! Always return with my family each time we are in town. Always consistent and no issues. Other fast food chains should really sit up and take note. As it doesn't matter which schnitz I visit the food is always the same! See less

I had the royal chip bunty with spicy crumbed beef and gravy....delicious !!! Missus had a chicken schnitty, chips and gravy...also delicious...we had takeaway...would definitely recommend trying. See less

Had lunch before going to a movie. Place was full, plenty of buzz and the OMG burgers were fantastic. Love their chips AND their awesome gravy. Highly recommended. See less

Food was good but serving staff need glasses. Tables outside completely neglected. Inside staff twiddling thumbs and chatting up a storm while potential customers took one look at the uncleared mess of tables outside and simply walked on. Can hardly blame them. I went and ate in one day and it was a horrible experience. The chips looked like they were from Woolworths and they just had plain salt. This is completely different to their normal chips and it’s not acceptable. They also had run out of traditional crumbing for the chicken, how does that happen even happen??!! At least the staff on were absolutely wonderful. However, I have been in a few times and the manager has been wearing blue jeans and a grey hoodie while working, while everyone else was in their proper uniform. This looked extremely unprofessional and disgusting, and he was also quite rude to his staff and the customers. I absolutely would not recommend this store to anyone I know. Just horrible. See less

Great selection of seasonings for schnitzels and choice between garden salad or slaw with your protein choice for $14.90. Vegan option available as well as beef and chicken. I would definitely say the portion size has gotten smaller since i last ate here. See less

Great venue and friendly staff. Lovely food (mostly). However our last online order they forgot I’d ordered a meal not just a roll so missed an item. Quality control of items needs to occur! That’s why a good manager should oversee the young staff who haven’t learnt attention to detail of an order. Or don’t hire teenagers who probably don’t care. One or the other. The sweet potato chips were almost black from being overcooked and we didn’t even get a chance to see what the other chips were like because they didn’t include them. 🤦‍♂️ See less

Let’s be honest right from the word go here. The 4 stars isn’t for the food now. It’s more for the memories. Of how amazing Schnitz used to be. It’s sad to think there was a point where my fiancé and I would eat this once every 2-3 weeks and I would look so forward to it. Now however things have changed. The last two times we have been it’s been off. The second last time the burgers tasted as if they were off. And the chips were undercooked And then today when we went the burgers had that much sauce that we couldn’t taste anything but the sauce. Our chips had that much salt on them I finished a 600ml drink before I’d even eaten 1/4 of them. We got a kids meal today and it was the same, over sauced and the sweet potato chips were more salt than chips It’s not to say it’s all bad there don’t get me wrong lovely staff and I love the fact they have high chairs for little ones. It’s just a real shame how it’s not as it used to be. See less

This would make it my 5 star restaurant only of the main meat used in meal was at least twice as generous. The chips was quite tasty and well seasoned and both the garden salad and the coleslaw were very fresh and nice. I personally enjoyed the Parma better with a very nice thick layer of tomato sauce however both variations of pork and chicken were very thinly sliced which was a bit underwhelming. Overall for the price range of $15~17 I'd say the overall experience was very nice. See less

Schnitz was like the first time a lay with a fair maiden - Disappointing and smaller than she was expecting. It looks good from the outside with a sleek interior. But you don't go to a restaurant called schnitz for a hamburger. The schnitzel are super small. Roughly the size of a fist. They were a real let down. The meal was slightly redeemed by the chips and the low cost. It's affordable but so are bad hookers. See less
