This place has become my favourite local seafood takeaway shop. I don't want to call them a 'Fish and Chips Shop', because that will paint a picture in your mind that is only partially accurate. Yes, they have amazing fish and chips. Yes, they have lots of other tasty takeaways, such as burgers, souvlaki, parmas, salads, and all manner of smaller snacks. However, an emphasis on the word 'Seafood' is the key to this place, because they nearly always have a solid range of fresh locally-sourced seafood. A complete list of all that they have on ice would be too long here. Suffice to say, most of the delicious famous stuff is usually here regularly. Around the Xmas holiday period, people go bonkers for the seafood here. So my advice is to talk to them early, when planning your festive season parties and get-togethers... Now, let me conclude my ramble by telling you about their actual fish and chips. They are definitely the best in Sunbury and surrounds, and would have to be contenders for a spot in any best of Melbourne Metropolitan list. Always amazing and fresh, and their batter might be the nicest I've ever tasted. No heavy or greasy taste or aftertaste to their battered foods. A nice bonus is that they have a couple of gluten free nights each week. I highly recommend that you check this place out. See less
