We ordered from here about 2 years ago and were quite disappointed with the food. Jump forward to March 2022 and we decided to give it another try and to our delight the food was much better! Portion sizes are in line with most Thai or Indian takeaways but they lose a star because I don't like having to pay extra for rice. $3.50 for something that costs less than 50c to produce is a bit much. Used to be regular customers as it had the best authentic Thai in Brisbane and gave it 5 stars in the past unfortunately since they moved it has been regularly inconsistent. Generous serving of chicken in the cashew nut dish however too much carrot and very little other vegetables. I always ask for medium spice but dishes have been coming out Thai hot and at times inedible. Last night 3 meals all ‘medium’ were off, 2 were bland and mild at best the other one was hot. Order for delivery. Restaurant has gone downhill since change of location. Ordered Fish Cake and restaurant just decided to give me cheaper alternative of steamed dim sim as they were out of Fish Cake. No sauces in mixed entree. No call from restaurant to see if we wanted dim sim or to refund money difference and after message left by me no call back from manager See less

We are regularly ordering food for take away and have only made good experience. Food is tasty, rice is good, starters are excellent. I personally love the Panang Curry, it is excellent. Parking situation is okay-ish but you will find a spot. We dined in twice as well, service was good too. A lot of traffic for take away though. See less

Ordered from here (delivery) for the first time. Customer service was above and beyond outstanding! I had forgotten to order Rice and when I called to add it to my online order the girl on the phone literally ran out to the carpark to stop the delivery driver so it could be added. So grateful! The coconut rice in question was delicious but unfortunately the pad Thai was drunken in a sauce that was so vinegary it made it inedible - especially the noodles that soaked up so much of it. I have had a LOT of pad Thais but never one that came with so much "sauce". Add to that the prawns were overcooked and chewy it was a little disappointing. The Massaman beef as much better but the sauce was a little lacking in flavour, the meat however was melt in your mouth yum! We've been going to Siam Sunset for quite awhile, so excited when they moved.. The food has been really awesome in the early days but in the recent days, the food has been ordinary. I've been looking for that exceptional Thai restaurant and you are not giving me that. Last time we were there it was a Monday and honestly the place was pumping. The lovely girl serving us on the floor was working very hard but was not able to suggest chef specials. The barramundi and apple fish dish was dry. The pork dish we had was so dry, came with lettuce leaves ... however the Massaging beef was amazing. So very tender and delicious. I think we might take time out and try somewhere else and come back in a few months. It really is an excellent neighbourhood restaurant but I do feel you need to cook more authentically to excite us. Well designed restaurant. Enjoyed that you could watch the preparation of your meal. Large menu which was great 6 guests all ordering something different. Staff service excellent Meals could have a little stronger flavours. But The noise. Not the place for a girls party night. No consideration for any of the other dinners. Not the restaurant fault. So going to a restaurant should always be more than just food, right? At least that's what I think, because if it wasn't, then we could have just had a meal at home. Anywho, first let's get out of the way what I didn't like was no parking (which is forgivable considering the price of real estate and with coVid lockdowns even more important to make the most of everything). And lastly, serving was a little late or should I say slow. But let's get to the main point now FOOD, well good food is what we come to restaurants for, right? (Oh and the ambience, people, hard work cooking your own meal, etc) and this is where it shines, as the food is excellent. If you want to enjoy quality Thai food and not fast Thai food, then this place is amazing. Trust me, book this place and you will thank me for suggesting you that 🙏 See less

I ordered a chicken fried rice and pad see ew via ubereats today. They were delivered on time however this is probably the worst Thai fried rice I have ever had. There was no fragrance in the rice itself and absolutely no flavours, nothing. The veggies looked very old and I can clearly see that the food was not cooked fresh. Not sure if this is the case only for deliveries, I haven't tried dining onsite. Will never order or eat in this restaurant. See less

We have been here a few times and the service is top notch. They serve the best Thai food we had in Brisbane with authentic flavours. The dishes are also priced reasonably well considering the food quality and authenticity you get. We recommend trying their red curry, minced chicken salad, and tom yum soup, at least at medium spicy level, if you can take spicy food. The service staffs are always accommodating and friendly, and the owner is very friendly and take great care in looking after the customers. See less
