3 years later and dishes are still too salty. But I found their dumpling in chilli oil absolutely yummy! Sichuan dishes tend to be saltier than normal. I like the sauciness if the dishes but wish that the chefs would go easy on salt. Ma Po tofu was delicious, beef/tripe/tongue was tad too salty but went well with the ma Po tofu. Soft shell crab had too much flour coating and I could barely taste crab. May return to try out their noodle dishes but hope that they cut back on salt. See less

waiting 30 minutes and I'm the only one who ordered, another person turns up after me and no surprise gets his food first just because he speaks the same language as the worker. Food was average, not enough vegetables and a total rip off. Just simply don't bother with this place. It should be closed permanently. See less

This place is good if you eat-in. Not so much for a pick up order/ take-away. Not sure why we were charged $2 extra PER MEAL (6 meals total) compared to the pricing on their TAKEAWAY menu and didn’t realise this until I took a menu home with me - PLUS the 2% card surcharge(which is fine) All of this still kind of would have been okay had they actually filled the containers fully- which they certainly were not. Only tasty thing that was worth it and has any taste at all was the satay chicken. The ‘dry chilli beef’ was disgusting. Horribly, horribly slimy and gluggy and no taste whatsoever. I really don’t understand because the first time we came here and ate there- everything was delicious- including the dry chilli beef. However, $99 for 3 mains and 3 fried rice was NOT worth a single penny. Really disappointed. Won’t be returning. Ps… thanks for the response but No- dry chilli beef should be dry chilli beef. Never had I ever had an issue with it being ‘soft by the time you get home’ from ANYWHERE else… and no response on the $12 extra we were charged for no reason?? See less

Good food and service. My serving was enough for 2 so took the rest home. I liked the unique crockery. Simple but pleasant decor. Great views of Lake Ginninderra if you sit at the far end. See less

We dined in and ordered food. Lamb rib was pathetic. We said there is no taste with the lamb and no salt. The waitress put her hand into the plate and picked an onion and put it into her mouth and told us tasted fine. I would never order the food from this place. Unhygienic. See less

I love this place. I love chilli and love Sichuan peppers. A burning numb buzzing mouth, ohh yeah. The 'hot and spicy pot' is delicious and exactly as advertised. See less

Food here is amazing, our favourite dish is spicy salt calamari (as the batter is light) and salted egg yolk corn. The food usually takes a little while to come out and we often find it difficult to get the waiters attention as the restaurant is quite large and there is only ever 1 floor staff doing everything, however they are always very polite. The most genuine Chinese food I have ever had in Canberra - not made for the typical Australian taste buds. Amazing flavours and so authentic! Service was below average - hard to get anyone's attention or put in an order. Food was served in the incorrect order. See less

The restaurant is quite spacious and located along the emu bank strip of what is now Chinese restaurants. The food was good overall with highlight being the fish in pickled cabbage and lamb ribs in cumin. The lamb meat just fell off the bone and was quite flavourful. The duck dish was a disappointment looking nothing like the menu, even after clarifying with the staff...The Singaporean noodles were also not cooked well. Cleanliness could be improved as some cutlery was dirty. Overall 3.5 starts, an okay choice for Chinese in Belco. See less

We love almost all the pork and chicken dishes with chilies that we have tried so far. The cold dishes are good for summer. Today (hot December evening), we tried their cold pork with cucumber in sesame and chili oil. It was soooooo good and refreshing. :) See less

Try some of their starred chinese food! I was very good! I kind of like their spicy it actually a kind of enjoying instead of just burning. And it is a good idea to hear what waiter can suggest u to order. Here u can have some original SiChuan food😋 See less
